Prestonsburg changed their coach and the consolation of other schools makes a difference. Shorter drive makes a big difference!

I don't think they are loaded. The QB was a nice pickup off the waiver wire but they need to sign a few more to get to the top IMO...:redboxer:

Come on now Jet you have give credit where itâs do. They have 2 gbâs donât know which the are going to use plus Phelps who played a lot last year and the Allen that played a lot plus the other two Allenâs so they have some talent and we donât know who else they picked up. They will be a team to deal with plus they keep us from scoring last year. Yes I know that Pikeville made a lot of improvements from that game until the end of the year and hope it continues. Going to be an interesting year but you know my heart is in Pikeville. But as always GO PANTHERS!!!

I highly doubt that. They have quality coaches and administrators. Prestonsburg had neither.

How is the team going to be this year? They lost some great players in last years senior class. I loved watching their LB Christian Keeton, he is an absolute beast. Hope to hear more about PVille this year.

Looks like Paintsville has 34 on their roster on KHSAA. They have a core of good players but wonder if depth will be an issue? Nothing from PHS2000 he is either scared or very confident lol...:popcorn::biggrin:

Paintsville will be similar to last year. Championship caliber defense with an offense that will be a work in progress as the season progresses.

I think the underdog role works better and I am glad Pikeville and Raceland have be crowned the Champs in August.

Nobody has crowned anybody. As we see every year, teams can look a lot different in November than they do in August.

I can guarantee you that no one here at Raceland has Paintsville checked as a for sure win on the schedule.

No it is your season. Regular season game is in Racelnad and so will be the playoff game. Same with Pikeville. Just are aiming for a winning season. :biggrin: :worthy:

That game is still quite a while from now and a lot of things can happen between now and then. That being said I fully expect that game to be a battle as it always is!

I like Orange Blaze know that the game with Paintsville will be a war. They have a great defense so coming up with points is going to be challenge. Look at last year we never even scored but hopefully we do better on both sides of the ball this year. Never would I canât Paintsville out just like Hazard, Raceland. The east is going to be tough this year as it always is.But as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Thanks Orange Blaze I hadnât seen that, but I agree Beechwood is #1 but to me the next 4 we have to wait and see. The east this year is going to be tuff. I believe I would have put Raceland at #2 because they earned it. Going to be a great year of football just hope for an injury free year for all but as always GO PANTHERS!!!
