I don't see the big deal

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-43970908

Donald Trump's doctor says he was told to write a letter stating he was in good health. My question is who cares, why is this a story? Everyone knows President Trump lies, everyone knows there is not a moral difference between the Right and Left.

So again, and again I ask who cares? President Trump must, but why? I careless about his hair piece or the lack there of. It bothers me more that finance laws could have been broken that Russia could have hacked our election cycle.

I care more about the possible peace deal between S.Korea and N.Korea which by the way is awesome!

I care more about the local farmers and miners who are being impacted by the economic policies set forth, or the lack their of, by this administration.

Each to their own though.

“It doesn’t matter.”

Obstruction of justice matters. Maybe not in your worldview. But it matters.

The leader of the free world stating that a rich and powerful man can grab a woman by the (unmentionable) and she won’t care matters. Maybe not in your worldview. But it matters.

It may or may not matter enough when votes are counted for which party holds power, but it matters.

Which leads to this response...Why is 90% of what the media reports "a story"? We all know the media as a whole are nothing but pathological liars. So is it with apparently everyone involved in the upper tier of the past regime's FBI and CIA. Adam Schiff is a confirmed liar. Why are they not these stories of the liberal main stream media?

It's because the media is more concerned in derailing a competent "get things done" president more than they care about the well being of the country.

In the Echo Chamber, if your views jibe...eh, it matters, Bob. You used to use words like “sheep” and “snowflake,” now look at you. It matters, Bob.

Bob, the difference between what you need to believe and what is actual? But, carry on, carry on. It matters.

Well if this prophesy is as accurate as the rest you've made... maybe not.

^^In a word, asinine. This whole get Trump saga is like a mutiny in which the ship's crew, determines to drown the captain by scuttling the ship. If you think a US President can be brought down for any reason outside the law and that being evidence of the incontrovertible type, you're one goofy crewman. Such atrocity will bring down us all.

⬆️ It does matter, friendo. And I’m ashamed of you for not at least coming clean on that. Were Trump Pinochio, his nose would reach Stormy Daniels.

Please, after everything you've put up on here about the President you can save the fake self righteousness, you have no shame. The 'resistance' started on inauguration day, it took 15 months to dig up something, that which was dug up BTW was before his Presidency and has not one thing to do with high crimes and misdemeanors. Frankly it's none of anybody's business, but you don't care about that, right crewman?

Friendo, this is your “stink.” And if it is Pete, I am ashamed of him.

mr.fundamentaltime started this thread, and though I disagreed with several preliminary statements, overall the issues he raised are reasonable for debate. Russia for example, did not 'hack' the election. It would be impossible to hack hundreds of thousands of individual voting machines. But anytime Sombrero thinks Trump not to have been bashed in the manner to which he deems appropriate, he dives in the ol septic tank and roil things up on his own. Hence the stink.

⬆️ Note: More than once, I have said the Trump campaign did a great job and won the electoral college legitimately. However, Donald Trump has lived in the public eye for closer to 40 than 30 years. His lurch right, his pander to evangelicals, these are clear and established by the life he has lived in a very observeable way. He’s a jackass, but he’s your jackass, Echo Chamber, and you love and defend him ad absurdum. In this, you are political beings, not dumb or foolish, or more gullible ones. Donald Trump espouses policies you support, so you defend him. Democrats defended Bill Clinton. These are facts, and they are beyond dispute. “He stinks, but, by gosh, he’s our stench.”

Nothing wrong with coming to a clearer understanding and changing one's ways. He has never denied any of his very public previous life BTW. Nonetheless despite wasting millions of taxpayer dollars turning over rocks looking for stuff, the closest your side has come to laying a glove on DJT is this Stormy Daniels deal. Which again happened well prior to his run for the Presidency and is therefore meaningless. I mean, it's a little hard to feel sorry for a hooker plying here trade where I come from. On the other hand you're right about my having defended the President. And yet if you were in any way objective you could see the good he has done since becoming President too. Not my problem but that said, I've not seen anybody on here defending Mr Trump for said unfortunate lapse (whatever that actually was).

Not realizing that drowning the captain will result in your own demise, you're LOOKING for anything you can find with which to disparage the President. I can face facts, but as for the monkey puke, I've had enough.

BTW, this thread is one dealing with the President's successes. Not any sort of payment to Stormy Daniels.

Actually, it’s a “no big deal” regarding just the sort of things that do matter. If you are here suggesting that Donald Trump has undergone a conversion, please share.

I would not bet who controls Congress post November. Too close to call as I see it. And, if ‘pubs maintain both, that’s democracy.

Let’s recap. Oval Office Republican, the Senate Republican, the People’s House Republican. President Trump 7 more years, followed by 8 more years with Pence at the helm. Like I said, on election night you guys started screaming nooo and you’re still screaming nooo. Not to mention the fact that the dumpsters in DC are continually stuffed with Obama era regs and copies of the ObamaCare mandate.

Enjoy it, I know for me it never gets old.
