Scott County puts up 80 points in the 1st half and plays the reserves the rest of the way.

If it was a 7-game series, no. However, it's not a 7 games series. Anybody can win a 1-game series.

I know Scott county is good but the score seems excessive. Did Scott run up the score on purpose for any particular reason?

Wow! This shows how weak the 14th region is compared to regions to the west. Estill is 24-7 and in the semis of the 14th and they lost by around 8 points to Madison Southern in Berea.

No...Scott Co. played their starters the first half and Madison Southern got destroyed. Madison Southern is supposed to have a good team the next few years, but they will NEVER compete in the 11th region. Beating Model and Berea is the ceiling.

Scott County's lone loss came at the hands of Arch Bishop Moeller 41-60 at the Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina. Covington Catholic beat Arch Bishop Moeller in Cincinnati by a score of 58-53. Another common opponent is Madison Central. Scott County beat them 71-54 in Richmond. Covington Catholic beat Madison Central 63-45 in Richmond. The first game of the year Scott County beat Ballard 69-63 at Ballard. Covington Catholic beat them at Fairdale 71-61. Another common opponent was Holy Cross Covington. Scott County beat them 78-51 in Covington. Covington Catholic beat them 87-61 at Holms and 85-52 At Holy Cross. What does all this mean? Absolutely nothing.

Scott County has an enrollment of around 2,600. Thatâs a small college! When you have 1300 boys to pick the best of the best to form a team it is a huge plus. But thatâll come to an end after this year when their new high school opens next year.

80 points in the first 16 minutes is more than a little excessive.
:flame:
Scott County must not be happy about drawing the 7th Region in the first round of the Sweet 16. :eyeroll:
It will be fun to see how many athletes choose to leave Scott County for Great Crossings.

Correction- Westside, Covington Catholic beat Moeller in Covington not in Cincinnati, huge difference

LOOKAYANNER- The new school doesn't open next school year, it's set to open '19-'20 school year, AND there will be open enrollment, so where do you think most of the athletes are going? I know this is a basketball trend, but SC Football came out looking the best, dropping down a class and still have a 6A roster for at least 4-5 years and maybe longer, because of open enrollment
