Corbin 2018
Something you are in desperate need of!

Sorry PJ, I was talking about Kool Aid.
It's Official!!!!

Not going to school with him, but would be closer. This is the proper spelling of Kool Aid, no wonder kids transfer to Corbin for education and Haddix like Gatorade
I don't know if Haddix will be leaving or not, but I do know two things.
1. Something like this usually gets around town a little more than this has. I haven't heard anyone other than Knox central supporters saying anything about it.
2. Everyone in Knox county is literally praying that he does indeed end up somewhere else, especially now that Corbin is slated to enter the same district as Knox.
He is not going anywhere trust me.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Really doesn’t matter who’s wearing the headset it’ll be more of the same next year lots of winning for the Hounds and sore butts in the counties!!
Not in Boyle County😜😜

That may be true, but our butt wasn't sore until December, which is more than can be said for anyone else in the tri-county area.

By "our" you mean the players on the team that are from the tri-county area right?

By "our" I mean Corbin, the boys in red and gray, the redhounds. I care much less about where they're from and more about where they are. Btw, rumor around town has it that a kid or two may be headed down to goldbug to play next year. You all must be recruiting them!! We need to call in the FBI, KHSAA, sheriffs department, and anyone else President Trump can spare to investigate and find out what coach Chappel has offered these boys to get them to even think about going to the county to be on a mediocre team. Lol

if Whitley County is getting any kids from Corbin they are already from Whitley County and should be there in the first place. . Corbin would be mediocre without all the kids from the county.

Please. Whitley could have every kid in the county and would still be mediocre. Too much nepotism and in fighting to ever find real success. It's not a kids problem, it's an adults problem. Until you all accept that and change it you'll never move beyond where you are now.
I don't have a dog in the fight in this, but..... I can agree w/ some when they say, Corbin has kids transfer in to their school and yes, Whitley really needs to fix some things at the high school level in their sports programs, but I can't agree with the statement, "Really doesn’t matter who’s wearing the headset it’ll be more of the same next year lots of winning for the Hounds and sore butts in the counties!!"

You cannot have players just show & continue to win as is..... you have to have a captain to the ship and Haddix has been able to bring all this together albeit no state championship yet but not everyone can pull it together for 1 main purpose. There have been numerous good coaches that have huge talent but can't just get it together.

I agree, it matters a LOT who is "wearing the headset". Haddix has turned the program around after it had hit a pretty low point, and I think the sky is the limit as long as he is the head man here. I'm not too proud to say that if he is in the running for the bowling green job, then I really hope he chooses to stay.

Everyone needs to move on and enjoy what you have. He was withdrawn/didn't inquire/was asked and declined or however you want to believe but he is going to be at Corbin next year.

I wouldn't say all of that just yet, He did eat at the Bistro. Just saying. Bowling Green is Haddix land.

I don't care whether you'd say it or not he isn't coaching at BG next year.

Thank you for clearing that up for all us. I feel so much better.
I don't know if he'd leave Corbin for BG, but if there are just a few schools that he would leave for......BG would have to be one of them, wouldn't they?

I'd give the % chance he leaves at around 5%.
All this fuss over a guy that hasn't won a title yet? Granted, I like the success he has had at Corbin but it still equals 0 state titles. Hopefully , next year will be the first.

Do I need to show you the long list of Southern Whitley County boys that were stars for Corbin during those 18 games? I'm sure you already know several of them.beating Whitley County with Whitley County players ain't really anything to brag about

You've seen me say several times the politics is the problem, but don't even pretend the long list of county boys didnt make Corbin better.

I agree Whitley County needs to fix some things. Corbin coaches ain't world beaters either. Chuck Smith took them to school. The Hounds will have a sore butt again next year .
I don't have a dog in this fight.

But y'all people must have some serious school Districting issues down Whitley, Laurel, Corbin way.

I can't even keep up. 😳

Corbin is in the middle of Whitley, Knox and Laurel and can't keep their hands to themselves Confusednicker:

I know you're not one of the people responsible for the problem, but that doesn't change the fact that it exists. To your other point, yes, Corbin has had kids transfer in from out in the county before and they've helped. That doesn't mean they were recruited though. Most of them were ran off by mike campbell.
