Corbin vs Knox Central 3/3 (13th Region Semifinal)
#1
These two teams are 1-1 against each other. Both games were played at Corbin. Knox took the first at the CFIT by winning 73-61. Corbin bounced back a few weeks later by winning 81-67. Arena should be rocking coming Saturday at 1.

If they let them play like they let Jackson & Corbin play last night, it could be very interesting. A lot of little T's could be given.
#3
A major key will be how they allow Corbin to guard. Last night I saw Corbin guard a lot with their hands. JC’s guards didn’t seem strong enough to overcome. With that said, if hand checking is allowed, it could be tough on KC. KC is the quicker, better team off the dribble, but if the refs take that away by allowing the hands, it could make a huge difference.

Hope it all comes down to enjoying the game of basketball. Good luck to both teams.

It’s hard to pick them considering their region history. But I’m gonna say it anyway... Knox by 1

One team will blow out the other. Not sure who but with all the drama that has been going on after the last game one team is going to step up and the other will fold due to the pressure

They should sell tickets for $20 piece for this game

Very evenly matched, I think the winner will be the team that can best control their emotions, because they are gonna be running wild.

No, pointing out that Corbin’s guards aren’t as athletic and quick as KC’s. If hand checks are called, the Corbin guards won’t be able to contain off the dribble.

Corbin guards and the rest of the team will win this game.

Corbin more than likely will not be playing man to man defense.Confusedhh:

box and one?

If the refs allow as much contact as they did in the North LC game tonight with no calls things could get chippy quick.

That would be wise. they still have to limit penetration, which won’t be easy.

I totally agree, which is why I think surely the crew that did the South-Harlan game would get Corbin-KC. Unless they mix the crews some way.

I was told they will.

Why so worried about officiating?

I’m not worried about it. Tonight’s game was extremely physical and the refs let it go. I’m saying if the game is called loose like that Saturday, with two teams that hate each other and have no respect for each other, it could get chippy.

officiating is an excuse in case they get hammered Confusednicker:
