Close game until the fourth. Then Corbin pulls away and wins by 8.
02-26-2018, 12:28 PM
Corbin in a hard-fought game.
02-26-2018, 03:16 PM
Hounds by 1. Jackson County can play.
02-26-2018, 04:16 PM
Corbin easier than most think. Hounds by 16 at least. Too many offensive weapons for the Generals to contain.
02-26-2018, 05:44 PM
^ We are on the same page. Corbin by 18.
02-26-2018, 06:23 PM
Corbin big

The running Redhounds inglepar
Corbin 70

First round upset!!
Jackson Co will shock the state with first round upset.

All I know is, if Corbin will pass the ball more to Chase Sanders, Redhounds walk through the region. Kid was on fire to start out against South, and then got iced out.

I'm going with JC.

Big floor and shallow bench will cause Jackson County to take a beating I'm afraid. I'd say Corbin by 16+.

Have you heard the saying, âcounting your chickens before they hatch?â
I called the arena today to get tickets for Saturday games and the Corbin section has already sold out.
No respect Generals!

I like this Jackson Co. team, but Taylor will be to much for them. Corbin by 10

If Corbin overlooks JC and have their eye on KC they may be in trouble. How will JC stop Taylor,Stewart, and Sanders is my question

Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if Jackson spoils round #3 for Saturday, but I'm afraid they want. Corbin with the w.

Jackson Co. is playing well and is dangerous but this practical home game for Corbin will ultimately result in a Corbin victory.
Corbin 74 Jackson Co. 62
Corbin 74 Jackson Co. 62

Love to see the Generals take this game. Corbin by 6

If I had to make a prediction, I'd say Corbin begins to pull away decisively around halfway through the third and the writing is on the wall for most of the fourth.
This will be the biggest game that Jackson County has played in decades, and being that they are smaller and will rely on outside shooting (in an unfamiliar arena/shooting background that is business as usual for Corbin) probably negates all of the energy that they come out with.
Watch for early runs, as Jackson County's nerves and over-enthusiasm could work against them. If they feel like they're bringing all they can early and still get down, then it could be a very long night. At the same time, young teams don't necessarily know what they are "supposed" to do and can be fearless.
Corbin has a bit of a habit of playing in some tight first round games (see the Bell County game quadruple OT game in '10, that they probably should have lost [or early '14 & '15 exits]).
While it could be dangerous if they look ahead to a potential grudge match with Knox Central and let Jackson County get confidence by not slamming the door shut when given the opportunity, I'd feel safest saying the scenario detailed in the first paragraph is most likely.

Jackson County has been playing well, so Corbin by 5 in a tight one.

I'm going ahead and buying my tickets for Corbin and Knox showdown for Saturday.

Just hit the TV button if you can stand to listen to the announcers every 5 minutes letting you know how many points and rebounds Taylor has to climb the all time leaders.
