South Laurel 64
Corbin 60

Going with South in a very close one. Corbin seems to be in a little rut since mid season
#6
Redhounds but it will be interesting to see who the officials are on this game. Should be a great game to watch

Wilson, White and the lady ref I hear

After hearing all of the talk about officials being biased for certain teams, I decided to look at free throw stats from a few 13th region teams. Below is the number of free throws each of these teams shot this season.

Knox Central - 607
Harlan County - 572
North Laurel - 497
Whitley Co - 434
Corbin - 405
South Laurel - 391

Corbin vs Everybody!

South needs to scratch Wilson, Corbin has rated him highest/best official all season. Funny that happens and he gets to call both their tournament games. Is coach p's dad still in charge of assigning officials? If not I'd say he still has some pull.

I could see how Knox would shoot that many, because majority of their points are off driving to the basket. Surprised that Whitley and Corbin are ahead of South. Bot of those rely heavily on the 3 point shot, and you wouldn't think would shoot as many.

I'm picking Corbin in a close one.

Not saying there's anything to it, but it's odd that 2 out of the 3 officials will have done both Corbin games in the district, and not a single one from the South-Williamsburg game. Maybe someone that knows how this works can give their opinion.

Wish they let me call, cant get a good game!

Some of the Corbin fans will be unhappy with 2 of the 3 listed. There are only 3 through the years that I dreaded seeing, Keith Morgan, Charlie Kirk and can't recall the other guys name.

Lady Ref? Would that be Dudley Hilton's daughter? Maybe Corbin will not get all the calls at home tonight.

She called one of Corbin's losses late in the year, believe it was the NL game. She seemed to be pretty fair best I could tell.

I remember watching Corbin in a middle school game up at Bell Co several years ago with Dudley and Tom Greer reffing. Greer's son was playing for Bell and he actually called it pretty even, but Dudley was such a homer that everyone in the gym knew what he was doing.

Best Crew in the 13th by far!!! Cant wait until tip-off!

I couldn't care less who calls the game, as long as they stay out of the way and let them play. Call the obvious stuff that affects the shot, and make people forget who even called the game when it's over.
#23
Good to see the excuses already coming! I'll take Corbin 65-58.
#24
Corbin @ Corbin. If South wins a district @ Corbin it would be a great win for sure. Corbin by 9.
#25
Come on South defeat the hound dogs :Cheerlead

South Laurel won the region one year at Corbin with 6 players on the floor for the last few seconds of the game. Corbin had the ball with a chance to tie or win it and SL sent a sub in coming out of a timeout and forgot to tell the player who was being subbed out.Confusedhh:
