This has to be one of them most open regions in the state. 6-7 teams could make it to Rupp.
What is everyone, predictions?

It's honestly anyone's to win, wouldn't be suprized if any of the top 7 won but in the end I would say Floyd Central and Pikeville are the top two and because of the best true PG in the Region Tackett and Brady Conn in the middle my prediction is Floyd Central. Kevin Spurlock is also the most experienced coach in the region when it comes to winning big games. One things for sure though it's going to be a fun week at the Expo

I agree with what you say, but I think you have to throw Johnson Central into the conversation too. They have been there done that as well. Their coaching staff knows a thing or two about winning region titles, more so than Kevin Spurlock.

Providing no upsets happen in any District Tournament opening rounds, 7 of the 8 teams that advance have a shot at winning 3 games at the Expo. The only underdog will be the 58th Runner up.
Does anyone know the exact dates of the tournament this year? I know this year the Mid South Conference Tournament will begin a run at the Expo Center. From what I've saw, the Mid South Tournament will go from March 1-4th, with those first 3 days having 4 college games at the Expo Center each day.

Pikeville was the clear favorite and was 14-3 (losses to Doss, Ballard and Taylor Co) until Byers got hurt. If he comes back Pikeville is the favorite. But even with him 15th is up for grabs...As it stands today I would go with Floyd Central.

All I have heard is it's 50/50, nobody knows. I'm not in the inside loop though, just the word on the street.

Who wants it the most? One play could determine the winner
