This 54th district tournament matchup will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 20th @ Hazard at 7pm.

Perry won the first matchup which took place on Dec. 7th during the WYMT tournament at Knott by the score of 71-47...Perry won the second matchup which took place on Dec. 13th at Perry by the score of 63-58.

Perry is undefeated in district play this season so far with a record of 6-0 and is thought to be one of the top two teams in the 14th region...Coach Day and staff has their team motivated and playing their best basketball of the season as of late and will have more confidence than ever when it comes to this matchup.

Thoughts and predictions?

Perry by 10 at home. Coach Day just can't get over the hump and knock the Commodores off in this one. Way to much pressure on him and his boys, just not used to that winning big games like this. Would like to see them with the big upset, just don't think it can happen! Good luck to both of the teams.
