Bell beat North Laurel in semi finals 50-37 and beat Harlan Co in Finals 48-44.

How come bell wins these tournys but never wins anything else? I know Bell won fresh tourny 2 years ago also

They're not horribly coached but they're also nowhere near as prepared as a North Laurel, South Laurel, Corbin, etc. They give up too many easy shots on D and take too many bad shots on Offense. They're a very athletic team. You don't see many kids around here doing 360 dunks in warmups and there's not too many 6'7 kids who can put it on the floor and throw down a 2 handed dunk on Oster from North Laurel. Another problem for Bell is basketball plays 2nd fiddle to football.
