Mercer vs Corbin

Saturday @ Lafayette. Any thoughts? Corbin won first game by double digits. One point game at the half, whistle seemed to change in the 2nd half a bit. Faulkner and Taylor are the real deal. Big boy back for Hounds.thoughts?

Could be very interesting to say the least.......be a lot of neutral spectators rooting for MC id guess.....how loud and in what manner will be the question. Lex public high schools are pretty hard core without any "fuel", so i guess we' ll see,

It will make a difference with this being on a neutral court. I hear too that Corbin has a new player. What kind of impact does the big guy make for Corbin?

Hes 6-8 and 270 so if he has any athleticism im sure hes a presence down low for sure. If Mercer can run and rip like they like too , maybe wont be able to mske as much digference defensively. Just my opinion. Adjusting to 11 th Region refs might be hard for both teams.

Hopefully the refs let them play, nobody wants to watch Trevon and Taylor sit on the bench with ticky-tack fouls.

I saw him play. If he's in shape he has some moves but he is very easily baited into foul trouble

I listened to the earlier meeting, it sounded like both boys were trying to showboat and top the other. Not a very good team game. Also, who is the announcer on 107.3 that is infatuated with Taylor? They are a very good team and Sanders,Stewart,Maquette, are pretty good players but you wouldn't know they were even on the court according to the radio announcers. What gives?

The guy that calls the Corbin games on radio is a really good guy, but he's definitely overboard with all the Taylor scoring tracking. Its a remarkable record, but just call the game and leave the record tracking to after the games over.

Not too bad on "showboating"....both played really well and were fun to watch
One is 19 and the other is 17 so im sure they wanted to showoff to some degree, i sure would if i were that good, especially at 17 !!! Lol
