Since they will not be in playoffs wondering if they schedule. I was talking to some Corbin coaches and they said probably will not. Said it was to far. Wow , I thought it may be a game to be played?

Well I’m sure Coach would put them on the schedule

It's no different than driving to Fort Mitchell and not as long of a drive to Austin Peay, I don't think the distance card can be played. It's a game that needs to happen if Corbin wants to be considered an "elite" football school.

I agree they need to beat Belfry or your going to have a lot if’s

That is exactly what I thought when that was said. Made me wonder if that was the reason. Oh well, a bit ironic really.

I have serious doubts that the Corbin coaches have given the "too far" excuse. Haddix has shown that he isn't afraid to schedule anyone. I agree, I think it would be an awesome game to schedule and I hope to see it happen. Not many teams that are gonna truly prepare you for a state title run like belfry.

I agree , that is why I was a bit hesitate , but I figured the coach and his assistants talk, so I took it to be true.

Corbin is waiting on Belfry in late November 2018 Iâm assuming belfry can beat Boyle County if not. :phone::phone::phone:us for 2019,20,21,22

The way it sounds, better give them your number 64. Others may not be answering.

I donât think the history of Corbin football will be left with âifâsâ if they donât beat Belfry. Corbin wouldâve beat Belfry this year had belfry beat central and if Belfry can get past Boyle this year theyâll get a game in 2018.

This years Belfry team was far inferior to years past. That showed when Waggener put up 20+ on them and stood toe to toe for a half. Corbin beat the team that ran clock on Belfry. That tells you all you need to know about this years teams.

Sounds good in theory but it was 28-7 when Wellman got hurt. Real high school ball isnât madden.

Did Wellman make that much of a difference in stopping an extremely subpar Waggener offense? After watching that game, I knew there was no chance they were gonna stop centrals offense. Just didnât think itâd be like it was. You can be wishful, but any unbiased fan knows that Corbin wouldâve beat Belfry had they made it to the semiâs this year.

You honestly think if Belfry gets by central they beat Corbin? Absolutely not. If Belfry wants to play Corbin, theyâll have to beat Boyle next year. Otherwise, Corbin Belfry is probably over.
