Knox Central 82 Bell Co 61
#1
Bell Co is going to be dangerous. Knox just to much tonight.

Sounds like Bell played pretty good for a while. Was up after 1 and only down 13 at half. I was afraid it may be ugly from the tip, after barely beating Williamsburg.
#3
Knox had a starter out and they looked out of rhythm at the start. Then they took control of the game in the second quarter. They really do have a good bench.

Only a 21 point win.

Knox has one of the best teams in this area that I’ve seen in a long time. Sad I missed this one.

Yes, Bell played lights out early and they are a much improved team.

I agree.

Must not have watched basketball in this region or area for too long.

I guess u must be talking about the south team 2 years ago because other then that team I haven’t seen any of the other teams knox couldn’t beat or play with.

I am very impressed with Knox Central's record this year, especially their convincing win over Corbin. Other than their close neighbors Corbin and North Laurel, does Knox Central play any of other top 25 teams this year?

The best 13th region teams that I have seen in my lifetime have been:

Clay County in the mid-late 80s.
Corbin and Harlan in the early to mid 90s.
Clay County in 1992

That mid 80 Clay team with Farmer? Cumberland was just as good and a fan in the tournament may have cost them the game. HCS will know more

That wasn't a fan. That was a volunteer assistant coach. A Cumberland player was hit hard with an inadvertent elbow. It probably should have been called a foul. The official warned the assistant coach that he had had enough of his protest twice before calling the technical. I'm not sure what the volunteer assistant said, but it must have been pretty serious. It was enough to not only get a technical but the assistant kicked out of the gym.

I knew it was something like that, many Clay fans including their coach said Cumberland was the best they played even in the State tournament.
