Well, I'm kind of starting to like this little Eagles team, but they ran in to more than they could handle tonight. I was still pulling for them. South is going to be hard to beat. After we put the Bears back in to hibernation, we'll see what South can do with "patriot Nation".

Hats off to Coach Walker and his team. They locked down Leslie last night with their defense. Mullins was not able to penetrate the extended zone and she had tremendous difficulty getting good looks at the perimeter. I really liked the intensity South Laurel brought to the floor. Leslie is young and makes it difficult when they go against those high quality teams. Good luck to both on their next games.

South Laurel was impressive last night... I was most impressed with cromers shooting. She is more consistent this year and that is huge for south Laurel. Leslie looked tired but even if they werenât I still think it would have been a 20+ game. I would love to see south and Harlan County on Saturday. With Corbin not competitive Iâm looking for my bandwagon team and that could be a game that would decide it for me. Ally Collett is already my favorite pg and maybe player so Iâm leaning that way anyways.

Leslie is a good team, throughout the season it appears that the team runs through Myers and Mullins. South Laurel is very deep and every player in the rotation can score. It justs looks like Leslie County's hopes and dreams relies on those two players every night.

Leslie is solid, but very vulnerable. If the two guards are shut down or slowed down, then they struggle some like they did against South Laurel. Give much credit for South Laurel's defense and shooting though. I think many teams will struggle against South Laurel.
