The game this Friday is on turf. Corbin play on turf much throughout the season? Pretty sure Boyle played most of the season on turf and with their speed, it could be a problem for Corbin to adjust. I'm a track guy and I know Boyle has several kids that could take it to the house. Something tells me they'll have plenty of opportunity.
2020 Landon Bartelson won the state 100 meter dash (10.9) last year and is 6-1 185lbs. He was offered by UofL last week as a RB. 2020 Reese Smith S/WR runs a 4.6 40 and will be the best football player in the game.
Boyle has a transfer from Corbin this year that I hear is pumped to be playing
his old team.
Both teams are going to hit and hit hard. The biggest difference between Etown and Corbin is the speed of the LB. Etown was very impressive with their ability to avoid the size of Boyle in the trenches and make plays against the running game. They were small and fast. There is no question that Corbin is a better matchup for Boyl
Curious about Corbins kicking game? Do they kick into the endzone? Boyle does not.
Boyle Dline is massive and very active. They had a suspension for the Etown game that will return this Friday vs Corbin. Hatter 2019? He will make a huge difference in containing and pressuring the QB. Trust me when I tell you he can run down the backfield of Corbin.
And before any of you thin skinned Corbin fans get your panties in a bunch, this is observation. I'm asking for input and discussion.
What is all this track talk about 2020......Do we have a kicker hâ¬LL yeah we do and we have a football team that has a heart of a championship team moke:moke:

My 2 cents. For what itâs worth.
1. No one is gonna change anyoneâs mind on this msg board.
2. Boyle- you have lost your marbles if you think you can scare the Hounds or their posters with speed/agility talk. It carries zero weight in this considering we have already beaten people bigger/faster/stronger than you.
3. We Deserve to be in the game. The kids know it and will show you why on Friday at 7pm.
4. Our coaches have been there-done that. As Players and coaches.
5. The Hounds are Hunting, they have one more hunt left this season. Again, lemme say this: you have lost your mind if you think they arenât focused, and have the ability to hoist the trophy about 10 pm this Friday! They wonât quit and lay down no matter how much smack you guys talk or what they see on the field in black and gold. Our kids see Red/White/Grey and are on a mission to Load that gold football up and drive it about 75 miles down I-75 South.
P.S. If you want to know about our kicker, Qb, Rb. Watch a film. Why ask a opinion if you can find out for yourself? This is business venture.

I think this will be the closest game all weekend. I hope Corbin win it, but I think Boyle Co will win another title.

There defense is probably better. But offense, no. Iâd say they best offense weâve played was one of those 3 and maybe central.
As far as speed from your OP. I donât even wanna talk about it anymore. Itâs not a track meet. And there is no way overall you are faster than central/Alcoa. So that is the least of our worries. Good luck
Boyle likely has a better offense than what you seen from Mayfield. Don't know about the other 2.

Youâre probably right. I think Alcoa/beechwood has the best offense. But Iâd say mayfield overall is better than beechwood. I know itâs hard to justify just looking at the matchups and W/L column but overall Iâd say itâs Alcoa, mayfield, then beechwood.

Boyle is gonna be a very disciplined/well coached team. They arenât gonna make many mistakes or have missed assignments. As for the best offense we have seen. Nope, no way! They are jus gonna block and tackle better than most teams. Just gotta watch out for #15 on Offense and Defense. He is their best player. Very smooth and fast. I wouldnât trade our #12 or #5 for him though.

I wouldnât trade our 3rd strong place kicker for anyone in this state. All of these kids are what brought us this far. Theyâve faced more adversity than most but yet they still stand as one of the best two teams in the class. You donât have a metric for heart. That and their determination will bring home #6!

Mayfield is good, but unless you have seen Mayfield with Guthrie at qb then its hard to see why i have touted him so much. On the other site after friday people are talking about how good he was. Ive been saying all year dont judge Mayfield by the games he didnt get to play qb in. Friday it was undeniable what he does for that offense running the ball. They would have lost without him. They are still good without him, but the difference is undeniable. That CAL defense was the best ive seen all year, and they was killing Mayfield offense, then in comes Guthrie.

Both teams are going to be very well coached and very disciplined that is why they have both made it this far. I still thinks itâs going to be a low scoring battle with late scoring in the game determining the outcome. As far as trading my gues would be that Boyle wouldnât trade their one player for either one of corbins. From what I have seen 15 is only used when need be he isnât like the main playmaker or anything. Not sure if he is even there leader in receptions to me he is a better defensive player.
Is it Friday yet?

I like Corbinâs defense against those numbers. 870 rushing, 1500 passing, giving up 152 against much more challenging schedule. Yes Alcoa, Mayfield, Beechwood, and now Central that this time last week was suppose to put up a running clock against us. So I stay with my big dawgs 28-14. Dang site itâs like an addiction you canât quit, last post this time. I am trying to behave.

Yes, you're right. Alcoa, Beechwood, Mayfield, Casey County, and Central were all one dimensional. Idk how we're gonna stop a balanced offense.
