Final on a Luke Lemaster 36 yard field goal.

Congrats Rams on your first state title apperance. I hope you guys bring home the state title. Beechwood is gonna be tough to beat but I will be pulling for the Rams big time!!

Great season for the Panthers in what everyone assumed was a rebuilding year. Pikeville will be very tough to beat for any single A school for the foreseeable future.

Congratulations to Luke Lemaster and the rams and fans. First school state championship game appearance in Raceland's 89 year history.
#4
Way to go Rams! I love seeing these teams like Raceland beating the odds Big Grin

Congrats to Rams.

GREAT JOB Rams!!!! Knew you had this one but when you came straight out of the locker room and marched it down the field To the end zone, validated it! Also an incredibly successful season for such a young Panthers team! We are all going to have a tough time with this Pikeville team next year! Congratulations to Luke Lemaster! Enjoy your weekend young man!

As a Raceland grad words cannot describe how I feel right now. Lexington will be orange next week.

I will be in Lexington next weekend. I had hoped to be able to go watch my Panthers and/or Belfry but I may just throw on my favorite orange Bengals sweatshirt and go root on the Rams.

I wish I could go. 11 hours is a little too far drive for a game. Thanks for your compliments. Hope you enjoyed your experience at Rams Stadium despite your outcome.

I wasn't able to attend the game but it sounded like a great atmosphere on the radio. I hear ya on the 11 hour drive, it would take a UK BCS Bowl game or a Cincy Super Bowl apperance for me to drive that long for a football game...and neither of those is happening lol.

Wow...Luke Lemaster for PRESIDENT!!!This team has banded together amd locked on to each other and fought like hell for 3 weeks. I couldnt be prouder. Ive waited 29 years for this. All the doubts I had early on, all the losses I expected and some came true. But I am so glad to eat my crow bc about a month and a half ago i didnt think we would come out of the 2nd round. Now here we are. I could not be prouder to be wrong if I tried! Salmons called that last drive to perfection and the team put Luke in the perfect spot. And that ball would have been good from 45. Amazing ball game. And look out for this Panther team. They are young, atheletic, disciplined, and play in an extremely downhill attitude. Thry are goina be a buzz saw for the next 2 years. What a ball game!

Congrats to the Rams for winning such a great game. Definitely will be pulling for you in Lexington. This game went down to the wire and I know everyone that got to see this game got their money's worth. Just wish my Panthers hadn't shot themselves in the foot with all those penalties before halftime. They were driving downfield and made it to the twenty, and then one penalty after the other. I guess that's were their youth came into play by making those mistakes. Looking to the future of these Panthers. They are gonna be scary good for the foreseeable future. You laid it all on the field tonight, and good luck Raceland Rams !! Beat the Beechwood Tigers !!

100+ yards in penalties to 0 for Raceland in the 1st half while Pikeville was repeatedly driving down the field to go up by 2TDs and probably put the game away was a killer. Not going to post for a couple days on this one, definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Congrats to the Rams and good luck.

Not punching it in the end zone sucks after driving it down there. Looks like the same happen to Pikeville that happen to Hazard.

That's true Bac. I thought of Hazard last week when they did the same thing. I guess that goes to show that anything can happen on any given night of football.

People will set and pick apart the game like they always do, but I felt like this was a clean game.No big mistakes from either team let the other win.Raceland win because someone had to....that’s the bottom line.Ths was easy tip five of the best high school football games I’ve seen! It’s always a plesiosaur playing Pikeville because of the competition your gonna get and they great sportsmanship you will receive from their players.I walked out onto the field after the game to pick some of the Pikeville players up off the field.I told them they played a great game and don’t leave the field with their heads down.Everyone of them looked me in the eyes and said yes sir!! It would’ve been easy for their emotions get the best of them and tell me to step off and leave them alone but they didn’t! This goes to show what a class act program they have and what great coaches they have at Pikeville! I always love playing you guys and I hope everyone had a safe trip home....HAIL PIKEVILLE!!!

Congrats Ram Nation, now shock the world and beat beachwood.

Was a great game and congratulations to the Rams. I just got home and had 2 hours to think about this game on the way. These Panthers have nothing to be ashamed off, you guys have come along way these year so keep your heads up and we love these PANTHERS.
#24
go ram nation, tcb

90% of pikevilles penalties were procedure penalties. The play that they kept gashing us on. The left guard would start to pull way early and they kept flagging pikeville for illegal procedure

Couldn’t be more proud of this Rams team! I have to admit, I was one of many who didn’t see us having this much success this season. Glad to be wrong this time.
I’d just like to say, the Panthers were a very impressive team. They played a heck of a game and had me more than a little worried about the outcome tonight. I’m sure Pikeville will be right back in the thick of it again next season. Great game tonight!

Would not want to run into this Pikeville team for the next couple of years. I think they will be scary good.

I didn't either. I had a pikeville fan ask me before this game if this was the best team we ever had. I told him this team wouldn't crack the top 15 of the best teams we ever had. But apparently they have something every other team didn't have.

First off, Congrats to Raceland and Best of Luck @ State. They earned the win tonight. Very Classy atmosphere for such a tight game. Both fanbases deserve to be commended. My Panthers fought hard and competed in a way that should make anyone whose ever wore Maroon very proud. This team may be the most improved Pikeville team from the beginning of the year till the end that I’ve ever watched. That’s the mark of GREAT Coaching and total commitment by these players to get better every week. This group will only get better from this! HAIL PIKEVILLE!

Congrats to the Rams!! I have been a part of Raceland football for all of my life either as a player or as a fan and this is a moment that I have been waiting for my entire life. It seems like Raceland has always struggled with breaking through but this bunch found a way. I am so proud of all of the young men on this team and I am excited to make the trip next week to see our first championship appearance. It's a great day to be a Ram!!
