This is the 3rd meeting in 3 years between these teams. These two senior classes actually played eachother in the 7th grade state semis way back when.
JC has won every meeting.

This game should be a very good one.
Wayne County is hungry for their first state championship. They have the home field advantage , so I'm going with Wayne 35-28.

I think these two teams are pretty close. Wayne Co. Has home field advantage; JC has a bit better O Line. I think it comes down to turnovers and who makes the "big play". JC 28- Wayne Co. 21. I believe the winner of this one goes on to win the 4a championship.

This game is to close to call. JC has the been there done that advantage. But WC has the home field advantage. I guess I will go with the heart on this one.... WC 41-6

With Linsey, Simpson and Weaver vs. Preece, Dalton and Gamble I give the advantage to Wayne County simply based on numbers. A key will be the pressure applied to JC defense.

Home field advantage goes to Wayne County especially with a 3-4 hour bus ride.

Should be a great game. With all this said I will go with Johnson Central 34-21 in a great game. Can't wait for Friday.

Wayne gets it done this time. 28-21. They do a great job of limiting big run plays. JC will be able to move the ball but think Wayne makes enough plays to stop the drive. Wayne's passing attack is really good and their kicking game makes team drive the length of the field. 1 vs 2 however you look at it. Should be a good one.

There's no way in Hades that was the 2nd best team in 4A. Maybe by ranking, but not by truth. I think JC will pull it out, but it'll be a heck of a physical dogfight. I could see either team winning, Wayne winning close, or JC winning by a TD, or 2. I'll go with Johnson Central, 28-21.

Poor Wayne County never considered in the mountains, but over an hour away from the interstate, internet Wi-Fi so slow I posted this yesterday and prolly still not on here (lol) and no way Central KY claims us either, we're a school without a region, unless you count those three straight REGION III titles!!!

This is why they play the game, two years ago it could've gone either way, last year without question one of the best teams, regardless of class, won and this year well.......we'll know more about 10 pm Friday night.

I know this the Jewell will be electric!!!

Capital, WV. is 9-3 and ranked #6. They will be playing in West Virginia's Class 3A (WV's largest class) Semi-Finals this week against #2 ranked Martinsburg.
JC beat Capital, WV. 31-20 in the first game of the season.

Great news for Johnson Central!! Looking at the results after your JC/Scott and your JC/ASH-land prediction, (both ended up being JC blowouts), I think I might just keep my thoughts to myself. Why your liable to make folks start to thinking that you don't have a clue.
