Highlands blows a 34 to 21 lead in the 4th quarter.

It’s a shame the parents and fans don’t have a say in this coaching staff.

How long can they keep him? That was awful coaching start to finish. SO is not a very good team or is HHS, but coaching cost that one for HHS

Congrats to South Oldham.

Coaching actually cost them several games this season. Simon Kenton, LexCath and now South Oldham. Pretty obvious that this was not the Highlands of old, but they had several chances to put this out of reach. The INT inside the 5 at the end of the first half was a killer. Larry Wilson had been gashing them all through the half and they chose to throw a pass that close with all the time outs left? We were shocked, but no one asked our opinion.

Exactly, all three of those games were in the bag.
Started off bad when he went for two point conversion, why? I said at that point they are going to lose by one. No D by either team so every point is important. Pass at end first half stupid. Then call reverse to start second half kick return and have return man run completely east west to give momentum right back to SO. Play calling last two series was playing scared and not to lose. Did not have players prepared for onside kick. Just some of coaching that you have to question.

Why in the world did Highlands not attempt to get the missed extra point back on one of their next 4 touchdowns, by going for 2? Every time they kicked the extra point I was thinking that they would regret the decision.

To be honest, the onside kick was letter perfect. We were standing right behind it and it looked like a knuckleball. I called it and the guys I was with laughed at me. Made me look smart, but feel lousy because I could smell what the Dragons were cookin'.

With the time left. Had to prepare for it. So what if he kicks deep.
