I think IF Highlands gets past SO. The Cov Cath game will be closer. Cov Cath already proved their point. But will the Birds players rise to the occasion to also keep it closer? They were demoralized in the first meeting.

Why do you say this?

The next meeting between CCH and the birds will be a total different story with a lot more at stake. I predict a far different outcome as well.

I grew up with Frisk, lorenzen, and smith. Please don't tell me what you "know." You guys are hilarious.

Did Birds lose intentionally to avoid an embarrassing beat down by Covington Catholic? Hard to imagine Highlands is this mediocre.

That's a huge list you have there for decades of HHS ball

From an outsiders point of view. Wienrich made some staff changes after a losing season. The team improved a lot over last year. They won the playoff game they were supposed to win. They went on the road and lost to a team that was a 4 point favorite and they almost pulled the upset.
The Whiners aren't looking at facts and aren't going to get what you want on a message board.

Yeah 6 and 6 record really good. Heâs lost more games in 3 years than most Highlands teams lose in 10 years

Nope. Just saying I know those 3 personally

Well guess I was wrong with 20 point beating but I’m sure SO is happy with a 1 point win .

You're the one cracking the childish jokes that are making us all laugh at your lack of factual knowledge.

No skin in the game, but seems to be a rebuilding year.
11-12-2017, 05:42 AM
How many rebuilding years does he get? 10?
11-12-2017, 06:09 AM
Give me Dave Guidugli, Bill Roller, Howard Feggins, Tiger Thompson and Jack Huenefeld and see what happens.

I am sure they are thrilled. They and you know with out HHS coaching blunders they lose by 14+ points. Losing no sleep over it because both those teams have no chance against COV Cath, just feel sorry for players who deserve better coach. Best of luck to SO, they are going to need it.

Coach W is arguably the best coach in Northern Kentucky, at this point he just doesn't have the talent and they are in a rebuilding stage. Dale was obviously a great coach but he also had great talent for many years that were all from the Fort Thomas area or have residence, of some form in Fort Thomas.

Really? The best?! How do you explain the SK, LC, and SO loses when games where given away!

And how do you explain not having best QB on field except for last two games and that is only because of injury.

I like the guy, and I don't doubt his football knowledge, but I think he might be in a bit over his head as a head coach. Granted, the talent pool isn't what it was during the last years of Dale's tenure, but some of the games that were lost this year were pretty clearly questionable coaching decisions. There were several on Friday night alone. I'm not calling for his head, but I can imagine there will be calls for a change. The Fort is not patient when it comes to the football program.
