McCracken won the season matchup 56-40 (also at home) by pulling away late. Daviess has been playing well down the stretch and showing signs of an improved defense. Who wins?

Daviess has athletic receivers and DB, but their lines did not play well.

We are so much better now. We had a make shift line and Tayshaun still had 200 yds rushing. It will be hard fought, but barring injuries Stangs by 14.

This one is a toss up. Two evenly matched mediocre 6A teams. Give McCracken a slight edge for playing at home.

Going to be cold. Some of the deeper passing aspects my be reduced in this one. Still, Tinsley is one of the state's best WR's and the Baker kid can flat out fly. Containing Baker on the short routes will be key for the Mustangs. He took two short passes for TDs of 80 and 58 yds last week. Daviess will need to do a better job of stopping the run and force McCracken into 3rd & longs. Turnovers were the difference in the previous meeting in favor of McCracken 3-1, one of those being a 32 yd scoop and score.

More often than not, that's due to the level of competition being less. In looking at who the Stangs have played the last half of the year, I'm leaning that way.

Well I beg to differ. You saw us last against your cardinals. Yes.... Our QB torched Mayfield's secondary for 4 passing touchdowns in his second EVER varsity start. But we still had 2 starting offensive linemen out. So our running game was not up to par. Some kids had to play both ways so it hurt our defense. We are better and more experienced regardless of your opinion.

The real head scratcher is Daviess loss to Owensboro Catholic early in the season.
I will still go with McCracken Co. 34 Daviess 28
