Belfry 56
Waggener 20 (13 on JV)

Belfry wins and-then travels to Central to take on one of their big rivals, congratulations to the Pirates and keep it going
#4
Will be an interesting matchup. Waggener has a lot of good players. Two of the top 10 preseason in KY. I like the Big Red of Belfry 49-14.

I'll take a cocky, arrogant, mountain team fan base over a Louisville team that kneels during the national anthem any day. Go Pirates.

Just read on another sight that this accusation is false.

They never kneeled last year during the Anthem. They stood for the anthem.

They kneeled on the first offensive play and took a delay of game penalty.

Thought this ought to be corrected.

Thank you. I'll change my post. I'll take a mountain team over a Louisville team any day.

One player kneeled during the actual anthem and then the next week they did that.

A player DID take a knee during the National Athem (http://usatodayhss.com/2016/coach-at-wag...n2ngA5Bsic)

The following week the whole team did take a knee for first play of game as an alternative.

I am taking Belfry by 26.

I say this because Belfry beat Thomas Nelson 63-26 and Waggener beat them 27-25. Also, Waggener beat Lawrence Co 41-24, while Belfry beat them 48-6.

Waggener is moving in right direction but it’s hard to play Belfry at Belfry and who doesn’t enjoy a good Belfry-Louisville Central battle?

And against Lawrence County they waited til both teams left the field after warm ups then played the national anthem oddly enough. After it was over they let the captains come out for coin toss. Waggener has one player that has tremendous speed but they are soft in the trenches on both sides of the ball. They are not gonna score several times on busted plays against Belfry. This one will be a running clock for Belfry early.

Belfry will just be too much for Waggener.

Belfry 56
Waggener 14

Maybe we shouldn’t tell anybody about the taking the knee thing because we got a few patriotic guys on our team lol

That seems like a good way to protest things and show your awareness, yet not upset the veterans, etc.. that might not understand what is going on, or can only see the disrespect. I applaud this method.
