I did play, for the coach that was at the school I attended.  I didnt quit and complain about things that players have no control over... so now your turn, do you play?

The mistake that was made could have happened to anyone of them.  It was a clutch decision but unfortunaly it was the wrong one.  The refs could have called a walk as well and JC would have gotten the ball back anyway.  The kid had good ambitions but just so happened he had no timeouts.  Hats off to Valley for a great fight and cant wait to see them contend next year.  Good luck at state Eagles!!!

Why do you have to bring in Coach Runyon into this? You guys can't celebrate one of the biggest wins in your school's history without bringing in Coach Runyon who has the upmost respect for your program.

I agree.  I doubt if BMR ever had his teams drive around Paintsville to rub in one of his 7 titles.

I also agree with my good friend, tigerprep here..This is insane..Coach Runyon is one of the best coaches ever and you have no room..at all to talk about him...expecially in this situation when he has nothing to do with anything!!

Congrats to JC on the win, but I got a little tired of their 400 car parade around town, not because they done it, but to have some people drive up and down streets, not just students but parents, and especially on my street which is about 2 blocks from the high school.  My street is full of elderly people, a woman at the end of the street has a brain tumor, and my neighbor has hospess(sp?) in her house where she is dying from cancer.  If it was during the middle of the day that would've been fine, but at 11 oclock at night when they are trying to sleep, then some come back around midnight, come on!!  Congrats on the win and I'm sure we'll see you all Thursday.

Not that it matters, but since it was brought up, Paintsville has always had a parade around town and such when they have won regionals or any other accomplishment in sports.  Also when the Paintsville Lady Tigers were going to the All A their little parade went right by JCHS and had been silent until they passed the school.  Then all of a sudden all their car horns went blarring!  Please....
Oh, and by the way, I have been awaken by sirens at home by the Tigers rolling in from their wins as well...
I didn't complain though...I knew the kids were happy and that is just part of it!  It wasn't the kids blarring the sirens anyway..they were just in the bus!

Great post!

You know, the fact is that JC and PHS share a town and I think its ludicrious that PHS would deny JCHS the right to share their joy with their town. I happened to be in that parade and for the most part we saw people standing on their porches or looking out their windows, clapping and cheering for the Eagles.ÃÂ It was never an intention to go specifically past PHS to "rub it in"....it was a celebration for our boys.ÃÂ They worked hard for it and they deserved that celebration.

And you know something else, the rest of you are right...BMR has NOTHING to do with this game or this win!ÃÂ So, to all JCHS fans I request that we don't bring him into the joy of our boys going to state!ÃÂ

About the girls leaving town right past JCHS, I think that is one of the few ways out of town, you have to pass it don't you? But I think it is okay to drive around in town and stuff like that, but through a subdivision? That's crazy then you'll really get people mad at you.

ONE! That wasn't a celebration. It's called an escort. And it's just because the police or whatever offered to ESCORT our girls into town. TWO!The bus's route is the road by JCHS. THREE! This is no excuse to use just because of your all's little parade. The girls coming into town was totally different. I just told you how, so those of you who are wandering "how?" you may want to go back up and reread this post.
