No talk going on about summer ball this year. I have seen a few games. North laurel will b better than folks think. Maybe better without their studs. South looking good. Whitley is competitive as always. Anybody seen clay Knox Corbin etc

Watch some games at Hazard and Hazard will be much improved. Harlan County looks pretty Good. Knott County looks O.K and Powell County has one kid Hernandez. Perry Central at times look OK but not impressive. I know this is summer ball and the 14th next year may be weaker than the past year or years in a long time.

I was at the LMU camp this weekend. Harlan County looked really good. Knox Central looked really good as well. Harlan City will be solid too. I think the 13th could be a really balanced region.

15th looks to be top heavy again, Pikeville, Floyd Central, Paintsville and JC all look good, JC and Paintsville have some really good young players, Sheldon Clark has 2 really good young kids also just not much help around them

Think it comes down to Corbin and Knox. Both have stacked backcourts. Corbin, obviously with Taylor and Sanders who keeps improving. Knox with Turner and Carton coming back off injury.

I think Harlan County beat Perry by about 20 at Memorial Gym one day when I was there.

If Taylor stays at Corbin then they should be the favorite.......North will never do anything until they get a coach.......Knox seems to always choke......Clay will be young and will most likely have a season like this past year.

Summer ball never reveals much. Corbin will be the team to beat. Knox Central close behind. South will be solid.

Anyone got any 13th Region summer ball schedules?

Corbin has two new kids that can play at a high level. The kid from LCA and a kid from Laurel Co. that looks really good..
Corbin is loaded with great talent and will be hard to handle.
If the big kid plays from Whitley, it will give them great size. Sorry don't know names of these players.

Pretty sure we all know this will be a special year in football and basketball in Corbin. College scouts will be walking the sidelines and the hardwood. :bball::bball::bball: :football::football::football:

Someone says that every summer. If you're good in the summer you're usually good during the season.

never said that wasn't the case. Simply said that Summer didn't reveal much. There won't be much if any new information or perceptions based on what happens this Summer. Things are pretty much like most thought when last year ended. Maybe with the exception of new players at corbin.
