KHSAA has South Laurel as the host, but rumor is Harlan County is hosting it this year. Does anyone know for sure where it will be?

Corbin is the host for the 50th District. South Laurel hosts the 13th Region.

I know the district is at Whitley next year, where is region at?

According to KHSAA site selection plan, region is at North Laurel next year, followed by Whitley Co., Harlan Co. and Corbin. Also, oddly enough, the state tournament pairings for the 13th region this year are exactly the same as last year. We drew the 14th in the first round last year (North beat Estill), then had to play the winner of 1 and 7 in the second round, (last year Male beat North), which is exactly the way it has drawn out this year. Whoever the 13th champ is, they will be favored to win their opener, but would have a very difficult second round game.

I'm thinking it a shame it's not at Harlan Co. Nice Facilities and great people. They do it first class
