Paintsville middle infielder Ben Daniels has committed to Mount St. Mary's University. Congrats to this young man and best of luck to him in the future. They are getting a very good ball player and person.

I've seen Daniels play several times and he can flat play-not real big but plays the game the right way-must be a good student-Mt St Mary is an excellent academic school.

Also says a lot about baseball in Johnson County/Paintsville as between the two schools they have 5 D1 commits: Brax Kelly-Marshall, Geordan Blanton-Marshall, Gabe Ferrell-EKU all from Johnson Central and Seth Williams-Louisville and Ben Daniels-Mt St Mary both from Paintsville
