The bobcats continue to build, nice effort from them. I expect the Pirates to be a contender this year.

No offense, but they gave up 5 runs to Betsy Layne and then got beat 18-0 at Ashland today. They have one pitcher in Dotson that could beat anyone. But do they have the defense and the #2-3-4 pitchers needed to beat others? Looking at today's results, I'm leaning towards no. LC beat this same Ashland team 7-2 with a 7th grader on the mound and a junior who was a JV pitcher last year.

Guess we shall find out this Tuesday-Wednesday when the 60th District may be determining its #1 seed as LC-Belfry meet. :popcorn:
