No one wants to post Perry scores anymore...

Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate. Congrats Commodores.

Perry was up something like 49-19 and pulled the starters for the rest of the game.

Leslie needs to play a tougher schedule

Leslie lost. We will see if Perry wins in the end. Glad it gives people like you Zaga a little bit of pride. Never played sports but always wanted to. Perry was probably good when you went there, they used their own players then. So I understand the loyalty. Was awfully quiet as it was happening last week and you thought there was a chance the guys were suspended. Don't lie, everyone in Perry thought there was a chance. Including their head coach. Now that they beat Leslie you are strutting like a peacock. Remember, things are never as good or as bad as they seem. Perry is not out of the storm yet.

It's a shame I don't get the opportunity to wear the same veil of anonymity everyone else wears on here, but it's also refreshing that I don't have to hide anything and I can be honest with everyone.
You don't know me, StarLord. You may know I went to Perry Central and I work at the TV station, but you don't know me.
Out of all the accusations and offhanded remarks you've thrown at me over the past few weeks, you finally got one right. Yes, I take some pride in Perry Central. I've sat through more terrible football seasons and watched more Commodore basketball games in my young life than a lot of folks could dream of. The "never played sports but always wanted to" comment sounds like sour grapes to me, because if I wanted to do something I would have done it. That's just another instance of you thinking you know me but when you really know nothing anything about me.
I did slow down on the posting over the last couple weeks, but it had nothing to do with being afraid of anything going on in Franklin Circuit Court. I stayed out of that mess and told the rest of the staff members to pick up the slack because folks kept trying to drag my name and place of work through the mud because I don't think the same way everyone else does.
I'm an easy target and you can throw your sticks and stones but don't pretend that you know anything about me.
Whether Perry Central has a couple foreign exchange students or they're all country boys like when I was at school, I'll be rooting for the Commodores.
Best of luck to your Eagles next year.

And let the record state that my only wish in all of this mess of a "recruiting" scandal is that justice be served.
If these kids, their school officials or their guardians did anything wrong through this process, they shouldn't play and whoever is responsible should be held accountable.
That's my stance and it always has been.

Cool story bro. Struck a nerve it appears. Wished the rest of us peons could think like you. Your mind power is unfathomable and we can't be blamed for not being able to keep up because "you don't think like everyone else".
My stance is I hope one day that the 14th gets back to taking care of our own and doing things the right way. Whether it is PCC, Cordia, Riverside or any other school in the 14th. When was the last time a 14th team won state?
Only one school ends the season with a win. And so far bringing players in from all over the country or globe has not equated to a Sweet 16 championship for the 14th. And hell, the region title has been elusive as well. Maybe it's because it doesn't mean anything to the players. I know growing up in eastern KY, it sure meant a hell of a lot to me. I'm sure those teams have kids not playing or sitting who it actually means something too as well.

No nerves struck here. I lost my ability to get tore up over this nonsense a few years ago.
But by all means, quit putting words in my mouth. I've never thought or acted like I'm better than anyone on here. I just think if these kids and the KHSAA are settling this one in court, then we can wait and see what the courts come up with. If the judge rules in these kids' favor in a few days, the KHSAA will likely appeal to a higher court. This one won't be settled for a long time.
And since you asked, the last state championship from the 14th was by Carr Creek in 1956. Hazard won it in 1955. The 14th Region has the longest state championship drought in the state.
Maybe you're right about a 14th Region title not meaning as much to some of these kids. That's a perfectly reasonable assumption.

Lol, get outta here bball101...at least know what you're talking about before talking smack.
Leslie beat two district champs in Clay and Wolfe and lost games to champs Letcher, Knox & Perry. But you're right, they need a tougher schedule.
