Pike Central is getting better every game. They will be dangerous when all their players get healthy.

This game was really a lot closer than the final score might indicate.
We had cut the lead down to like 4 I believe with around 3 minutes left to play, but JC went on a little mini-run to stretch it out late.
Blair was a little bit off from 3 point land tonight, but he did get his points and got them mostly in the paint. 46 of JC's 72 points were scored in the paint.
For us, Cory May was the hot hand tonight scorching several 3 balls before he fouled out in the 4th QTR.
I think in the end tho, it was turnovers & free throw shooting that really hampered us in this one...if we could have cut our TO's in half & shot a better percentage from the line. This one very well could have went the other way.
Either way, impressive effort for both teams. Fun game to watch.

This game marked Coach Tommy McKenzie's 7th straight 20 win season at JC.
1 Elite Eight appearance (2014)
4 15th regional championships (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
2 15th regional runners-up (2008, 2016)
4 57th District championships (2011, 2013, 2014, 2016)
4 57th District runners-up (2008, 2009, 2012, 2015)
Not too mention, Tommy has a great assistant coaching staff and the best Statistician/Spotter in the continental United States....... and he's only 35.
