14th vs 15th i know everyone is going to love that with a chance to possibly meet the 13th.

Good draw, all the Eastern Ky teams in the top bracket.

Looks like a mountain team will have chance to advance to Saturday. Campbell Co or Paris most likely to make it from 10th. Knox, Harlan Co, S Laurel , Corbin, Perry Co, Johnson Co. all would have legit shot at semis.
02-01-2017, 09:41 PM
I expect Perry to represent the 14th. With this draw I expect Perry to play the winner of the 13th in the second round and I honestly believe the winner will make it to the finals.

Would be tough semi final game against Bowling Green or Scott County.

I love seeing Region 6 & Region 7 in the bottom half and the chance to meet in the Elite 8.
The bottom bracket is Death Row.

If PCC keeps all their players eligible I think they will definitely be in semis

Well, let's hope 13th, 14th, and 15th regions represent the mountains well this year. But, If Perry goes, the 14th region is no longer in the mountain basketball category. In that case, the 14th region would fall under the "International" category.

It must suck sitting around crying about PCC all day. You sure are killing it with those zingy one liners. International category. Your so funny pal. I must say it's weird you would put that much hatred towards a high school basketball team. Maybe you should go out and do something crazy. Like get a life.

I just looked back at your previous quotes; and you showed the same amount of hatred towards cordia.

No I hate KCC. I never hated Cordia I just tried to get all of their fans to understand how overrated they have been during the Rod era.

It hurts my brain to try to read anything you write. Go back to third grade and learn basic English and sentence structure. And as I said my problem with Cordia was how over rated the fans on here hyped them every single year. Every school that has a good program gets transfers.

if you want to talk about schools. by your name and you said you was in the wrestling team. so you should know how PPC is. if you played sports, you don't have to do nothing in school.

the only fans that hyped them was Cordia fans. just like you hyped PCC every year. the transfers, if i remember right. PCC have never won region with transfers.

PCC won't win regions they won't have those players. Plus they've only beat a few teams in the region but not many points with those boys. It's all different when it comes tournament time and we know how PCC play during tournament

Obviously it was Cordia fans. Thats obviously what I meant. I don't hype Perry every year. Besides the year Jaysean was at PCC and last year I said every year Knott was the best team. I pulled for Perry but I wasn't blind. Also the last time we won region we did have a transfer playing. Kyle Huff.

Perry beat Cordia without the two transfers. Cordia is the second best team in the region. So yea you are dead wrong. Perry is the favorite with or without them. With them it won't even be close though. So all of you haters better keep hoping something keeps them from playing.

Maybe we just need to start a Perry Central recruiting forum separate from the basketball forum. It seems that's where everything goes.

I wish the best for whoever wins the 14th, as no one has won a game at Rupp since '12/'13 season (KCC over Clay). I think we can all agree it'd be nice for the 14th to make some noise at Rupp again (like S. Laurel last year), its overdue.
With this being said, I'm almost positive Bowling Green is going to come out of the top of the bracket, so it may be a lost cause this year...

There's no truly dominant team in the state this year, and I honestly think outside of 2-3 teams that will make the sweet 16, anyone can beat anyone up there on any given night. If PCC, South Laurel, Corbin, and possibly Knox comes out of the bottom bracket, they can beat Bowling Green. It would take a really good game by a couple of those, and a perfect game by the others, but it could definitely happen. I'm sure there wasn't many (if any) giving South a shot to beat the #1 team in the state in the 1st round last year.

You're right, there is no truly dominate team in Kentucky this year. However, there are 6 or 8 teams that seem to be a notch above the rest. Those teams are Fern Creek, Bowling Green, Trinity, Scott County, Covington Catholic, Ballard, Hopkinsville, and you might as well throw in Christian County, Lexington Catholic and Dunbar. Of course, any of those teams can be beat by ALMOST any team that is good enough to make it to the Sweet 16. Assuming that the 13th region representative and Bowling Green will meet is a big assumption. There will be a lot of basketball played before that happens. Campbell County is more than capable of beating anyone in the 13th. Also, whoever comes out of the 11th will be a tough out for Bowling Green if the 11th region rep gets past Southwestern or Pulaski. There is a lot of basketball to be played before Bowling Green would meet the 13th rep.

Almost positive? I think BG would only be a very slight favorite over Scott County, if both make it that far. SC has a much tougher path to get to that point than BG. But, if they both get there, it would be a pretty evenly matched game. Just my opinion.

Just because they are favorite to win doesn't mean they will win. They was favored last year too and where did that get them?? lol
