You are right about the speed that was there downfalll! In basketball if u have a team that all stands at the three point line an can make a few shots an ur playing a zone an ur running at shooters all night that spells trouble for defensive rebounds because they in a terrible position to rebound ! That will make anybody playing inside have a hard time,an they sent everyone to boards! Remember north didn't have the big girl until tonight she got 10 , she's 6'4 so not to many people r going to stop her from scoring if she gets the ball close. Harlan co ?'is about the only ones!

Good win NL. I thought our rebounding and not being able to turn them over was our undoing. The new post player really played well for her first game. If she can play major minutes later in the season NL will be tough. Congrats to HC and NL

I'm technologically challenged and only got the second half pulled up online, but I was happy to see NL win this one. What I saw though looked like they didn't just shoot 3's all day though and took it to the basket and was smarter with some shot selection. I'm proud of them! I saw the new big but apparently she played better in the first half than what I saw but just what I was able to catch she looks hard to handle if she can get in any kind of shape she is going to be a beast in our area. This next game against Harlan will be interesting and early enough I may try and travel over and watch it.

I will also add that Perry is better than I thought. Even though I had them picked on their home floor to beat NL I really did not think they would be as good as what I saw out of them. those two guards are HARD to HANDLE!! I also like how they play. If they can tighten up some defensively they will be a hard out in tournament play.

The big girls changes NL. She had 10 and just played maybe 5-8 minutes. Like I said before if they are hitting shots they have the ability to beat good teams. They've played a tough schedule early so their record really doesn't reflect where they are in the 13th. Was a fun game to watch.

Grew up watching all the greats... Bird, Magic, Jordan. I believe in the way they played. When it was crunch time, those players had the ball in their hands.

She would have, but no one ran the offense , its a lot easier to good clean shots to do that! Pcc offense is set to get the two guards most of the shots an the posts r there to rebound an get there shots through putbacks an at the foul line. The team missed a bunch of foul shots which they normally make,even after playing terrible they still could have won the game at the line.

Everyone is getting torn up over nothing, Perry is the best team in the 14th and top 3 in the mountains, they are fine

NL is a solid team, will be right in the hunt come tourney time. PCC seemed to rely on screening for the ballhandler, I think some off the ball motion and screening would help get some easy looks at the basket. Looking at the roster they are playing several kids without any varsity experience so they will continue to get better. Proffitt kid does good job drawing fouls and getting to the line. The Hall kid has got a lot better from last year.

I agree with old holler ball. PCC got beat by 5 by the best team I've seen in the tournament. The 14th is theirs for the taking

Maybe you should learn from Hillbilly Cat.. Burris & Fields aren't the basis of the offense. They have their roles and know them well. They don't have tons of shots in the games they score higher than their average. Hall & Profitt get the ball to them in transition. Which happened you break down in this particular game. I've watched them play 3 games an in warmups the center for Pcc is the best shooter from the floor besides the 2 guards, Napier never plays the same way once it gets march. It looks like to me he's developing his 3 young big girls an I wouldn't be surprised if doesn't take the center to the wing in march .
