Williamsburg isn't in same league as Lynn camp and Barbourville. Lynn Camp will challenge for as high as 6. Barbourville will again be good. But Williamsburg won't be any better than last year

I don't see how Lynn Camp is going to be that much better than last year, especially ahead of Pineville, Whitley or Clay. They may be top 10.

North with Broughton, Asher and Sizemore will be hard to handle
10-05-2016, 04:04 PM
If South, has pick up two inside kids ? This will make them hard to handle again, because the one thing 13th region teams are missing is a inside presents. The team that plays the best on the inside, will win the region.

One post player that will help other is a guard that wont help much but will help the layup line look impressive.

Ha Ha ! Got to look good in he lay up line... South will be ready to make anther run for the 13th region title again is seems. I heard they had a senior football player with size, that had played as a Freshmen but changed schools his sophomore year, but moved back to South. Heard he was a deceit player too? Must be the kid, unless they had one move in from some where.

I've yet to hear about any new kids at South, who are they?
10-13-2016, 02:04 AM
Both left went to lynn camp but back. I ain't sure they are playing say they are but one could help with some size but the way south gonna play this year idk if size will help.

I feel like Clay will surprise some teams this year. I would say the people in Clay County are anxious to see what type of team they are going to have this year.

I think clay will be better than some think too 6-7 in preseason seems about right to me at this point
10-18-2016, 07:45 PM
I'm going to keep a low profile right now until football season is over. nicker:

I agree. I think 6 or 7 is about right for Clay County in the preseason polls. With a few that has came back out to play and the good freshmen they have coming in they could possibly move up 2 or 3 spots.

I like South Laurel to win this region Corbin will be strong the sleeper is North

I'd bet fairly big money (figurative not literal) that South won't win the Region...... Corbin, Harlan County, Knox and North are all going to be better then South.

Give me South Laurel and Harlan County and I will give you the rest of the teams in the regions that South Laurel or Harlan County wins the region. :poker face:

Want be the same on BGR without Clay County posters this year. :HitWall: :HitWall: :HitWall:.....

Clay County fans will not have much to say this year, but in a couple of years they will be back in the mix. They have really good freshmen players as well as one of the top 8th grade middle school teams in the state. If these boys will stick with it they should be contending for a regional title sooner than later.

The Tigers won't be at the top of any regional rankings, but based on what I've seen and heard, they'll be better than many expect. No easy pickings when you play the Tigers, regardless. This bunch will play hard from tip to buzzer.

I just hope the Players are held accountable for their actions, Because the last 2 years they weren't. Its a shame certain player was allowed to get away with anything:flush:

P. Broughton and solid Sr and Jr class will make a lot noise for the Jags, Coach Sizemore is doing some good things. Play in some really good tournaments early, and that will help down the road.
11-18-2016, 04:24 PM
North will probably have the best overall top 6 in the region. Broughton, Asher, Sizemore, Gray, Nicely and Osborne are pretty dang solid bunch.

Harlan Co
South Laurel
Corbin
NL has the talent but don't think they're as good as the 3 mentioned...
