Good Lord willing, we will be waiting. We still gotta get past OC. They hung 42 points on a tough Butler Co team that went 8-4 on the year. They also hung 49 on Murray. Then if we get by them, we gotta get by the winner of CAL and DeSales in Louisville. But, I expect a reversal next week against Danville.

:igiveup:I think Danville should just give up and not come to Lexington next week. Or maybe they will play with a little more attitude and determination.

more payback game for LCA because to hear Danville talk they never lost the last time they played ............ lets just hope no one is hurt next week , with the way danville tackles at the knees and their heads down it is very dangerous ,they had a kid break his neck last year, no one wants a repeat of that

RTL you are correct. Never have seen DB's more dangerous to the game, they play the man, not the ball and lead with their heads down directly at the knees. Horrible technique! KHSAA has been notified.

Congrats to LCA, Jumpers had no answer for Wheatly. Good Luck to LCA and Danville next Week...

it's dangerous for all kids playing, its shame to have a kid paralyzed because not coaching proper tackle technique

I have not heard the first person from DANVILLE, say they didn't lose the last game. I want LCA to be confident, but they are definately beatable. LCA should be favored in this game at home, but I also like Danville's chances they have had some decent success in the past in repeat games in the playoffs. I hope Clay Clevenger can motivate them to be more aggressive and lay the wood to #32. By the way the player that you said broke his neck last year is playing this year. I think by watching some game film of last game, Danville may be able to find a way to slow down #32.

cleavanger is going to tell his kids to go after 32 knees because they can't tackle him up high they won't even attempt it ....... the problem just like every other game they play their kids lead with their heads down. I am happy the kid that BROKE HIS NECK... is playing , it's still doesn't change the fact that the kid BROKE HIS NECK ..... and was almost in a wheelchair.... yeah that something to brag about. it's terrifying to watch

I wasn't bragging about him playing, just stating a fact. Next, yes they may need to get there head up, but it is not against the rules to tackle the knees, legs, feet. Its stupid to try to tackle a big stong back like #32 up high and get run over or break free. Clay Clevenger is not teaching his players to try to injure players by hitting there knees. I haven't seen a flag yet for a player tackling by taking a runners legs out. You just worry about LCA and let Clevenger worry about His players. Every time these two teams play, you bring up the same thing. We hear you.:please:

never said it was against the rules, it's doesn't really matter if he is teaching kids to go after knees that just what some guys do ..... what does worry me and it should worry you is kids not being taught proper football techniques and kids increasing their chance of being in wheelchair for the rest of their lives . I actually talked about it before last year game and guess what ? A kid broke his neck !!!!! guess that doesn't matter, the fact that you can knowledge they do it is even more terrifying, let me clarify I'm not talking about tackling at the knees I'm talking about teaching kids to tackle with their heads down

How much will Somerset return next year? How many seniors will they lose?

I know Danville and LCA both have very small senior classes this season, so looks like an uphill climb for the Bunnies.

Well I guess thats on the coach, some kids have bad habits that are hard to break. I wish he could get the ball carriers to get both hands on the ball and secure it and quit fumbling, and also get the center to quit snapping the ball poorly. These things have cost Danville a lot of yards and momentum this year, it did in the first game against LCA. Good luck Friday, and hopefuly everybody comes out healthy win or lose.

I know they lose their stud running back and at least one of their really good WRs/DBs Losing Doan will be very hard to replace. He was a special talent. I think the rest of the team is relatively young.

yes it's should be a great game

I thought it was just at Easter that Bunnies laid eggs.

As funny as it sounds, Somersets Defense played great 1st half a few fourth and goal stops, forced fumbles. score was 7-0 late in second. Very bad call set up second TD and that was 4th and 10 from the ten, safety slipped left WR open. Somerset came out scored quick 14-7, and that's were the wheels fell off. Picks, horrible play calling and poor tackling. Some of the worst tackling I ever seen. A few people at SW had told me Somerset don't hit other then a short in practice scrimmage to not get kids hurt in practice, it shows they flat out are not physical. They do return a lot of players, but will point out they had to start 2 freshman LB because of injuries and they hadn't had a lot of game time this year.

Somerset is solid next year, biggest lose doan. front 3 DL are soph. Lb core were freshman last 2 games and will get Hatcher and 2 more JR LBs back Hatcher been out since Hazard game he's the best LB and the big game changer, only lose 1 secondary player. OL they lose three, the three small ones, they get lineman in those spots back that are good and big, QB reese will be back and lose 2 key WR but are replaced with very good WR on deck. I heard Tevis kid will take over RB spot and they have 3 beast backs that were freshman waiting to explode. It will be another crazy year next year.

Are both Cornetts seniors?

LCA has been under appreciated all year. I think they come out and get the win
