Bowling Green vs. McCracken
#1
Predictions?
#2
Bowling Green by as much as they want. 2nd quarter running clock. Hope I'm wrong
#3
BG by 30.
#4
The Purples have not been challenged all season. I hope it's a good game, but I doubt it will be. Way too many offensive weapons and a defense that has only allowed one score since September 2nd.
#5
Mortal teams can not play with the Purples.
#6
Who would have thought Penn State would beat Ohio State. Last I heard the game will have 4 quarters and each team will have 11 players on each side of the a ball known to take crazy bounces. If its not necessary to play the game, Bowling Green can just send in the score to the KHSAA.

Does that mean you are taking McCtacken County? I agree anything can happen, but...

I wish I could watch this one. I think BG wins but, I think McCracken has the athletes to keep it close. That is if their coaches ego can stay out of the way of their chances.
#9
Bowling Green is likely as good as Pulaski Academy, and we know what happened there.
#10
I'm going to the game with the mindset that we will play the game and one team will win, if I thought Bowling Green was never ever beatable then McCracken should just not play them. I'm the dumbest person at knowing all the inside stuff, was unaware that the McCracken coaches had an ego problem. I've seen all their games since inception except for games more than 50 miles away, they have done much better than anyone thought they could or would. Athletics at McCracken are good across the board as they have now won 22 regional titles, not many schools have done that in less than 4 years.
#11
Im a diehard Mayfield Cardinal fan, maybe I should not be posting due that Mayfield is not playing in this game, but I root for most local teams and I am pulling for the Mustangs with that said the upset in the state happens with McCracken 44- Bowling Green 40 in a shootout
#12
Wow!! First off blue, the Mustangs should have a bunch of titles. That since they are probably twice as large as anyone in West Ky. Second, no, they haven't done more than anyone expected. If you will check back through the threads, I have picked them to make it to semi state in the past and had put people on notice that they would become a new power in Ky football. Now, Oldcard, really??? I wouldn't pick anyone short of Trinity or Male against BG.

I agree Mccracken has had some great success in several sports. But this is a forum about football. How many football regional titles have they won?
What is their record in the playoffs?

That being said scheduling Bowling Green is a step in the right direction. McCracken might get pounded again but they need to see that level of competition to prepare them for what waits them in the playoffs.

Bg wins 63-7
#15
All BG in this one
#16
Maxpreps has Bowling Green ranked 92nd nationally and Pulaski Academy Arkansas 215th. So, the Purples might be a little better, if you go by rankings.
#17
If the polls mentioned are correct, then Bowling Green will win by 100 to nothing. I've never seen Trinity play except a scrimmage, I have seen Highlands play as well as Mayfield. Pulaski Academy Arkansas could on the night they beat McCracken could have won by any score they wanted, they went away from their crazy methods to not humiliate McCracken anymore than they did.
#18
BG is on a different plane than 99% of teams on Kentucky. McCracken is good but have no chance in this one.
#19
I don't think the Stangs can win. I do think they have the athletes to do that but, I think it rests in the difference of coaching. You are going to see a team that should play close or even have a chance to win, if they had the right coaching, lose by several scores. It's a shame.
#20
BG is very good this year
And I believe that will show......
BG by name that score
#21
BG has become one of those teams that just reloads
#22
Bowling Green 64
MacCracken County 14

#23
Bowling green with the win
#24
Bowling Green by 50.
#25
McCracken broke Mayfield's win streak in 2015, they have since started another which is now at 20.
Bowling Green comes to McCracken Friday night with the states longest win streak at 21. Oh My if only we can stop theirs and get Mayfield back on the States longest list.

Good luck with that. I just hope it's an injury free game for both teams. It's just two teams trying to get better.
#27
BG 38 McCracken 20

I need a radio station that will be covering this. Hopefully one I can listen to on Internet. That way I can watch the Cards pummel the Tigers while listening to this one.
#29
I am gonna say 42-28 Bowling Green.
#30
55, 99.5 will be covering the game on the radio.
