LCA 49. Middlesboro 6

Did not expect to win, but hope to be competitive. Not even close to that wish.

Lost for words.............

I am a graduate of Middlesboro from the mid 90s and I remember the teams of the mid 90s and early 2000s. I went to Middlesboro games all my life and this is hands down the worst it has ever been.

My son plays football in Tennessee and I havent posted here in a long time or paid too much attention, but goodness Middlesboro is a dumpster fire. I know the kids give it their all and do all they can do but what happened in a short period of time?

I went to the Bell/Middlesboro game this year and even then I told some people if either of them win more than 3 games i will be shocked, and looks like neither will.

I dont know the answer but I sure hope the Jackets can right the ship one of these days

In both cases the administration is directly responsible for the collapse of the programs. Sad to say it is going to take a complete change from top to bottom to turn it around. With the politics at the two schools, may not happen.

Congrats to LCA. Coach Frazier and Chappell are having a good year at Whitley County.

Must make changes

Now that kids are quitting, this program has serious problems that will not be addressed under this administration. This system as a whole is in trouble. Test scores, athletic programs and school discipline are all major concerns. All have fallen off drastically . One try's to support ,but I can not continue to support people that are running our system into ground. I truly hope the new board members are elected and change this administration and several coaches in different programs. This good ole boy , best buddy hires we have made have gotten us where we are. Just look at test scores, sports records and school discipline. I agree we must make changes.

We have 3 schools in our district. The other two are failing and the High Scool dropped almost 7 points. District is not very big is it? Sorry , reality is what it is.
