Casey County 53 Bell County 14
#1
Final.

Bell has quit.
#2
I think it's safe to say that the Amos McCreary experiment has been a failure. Heads will roll.

Its definitely going to cause a riot but its hardly all on him.
Several heads should roll.

They don't have to quit. It's called administration at its best. Politics can build a brick wall and destroy years of tradition with one fat swipe. We are watching it happen. Sick.

Never in my lifetime would I have dreamed Casey co could ever beat Bell in that manner. My oh my. Those ain't your daddy's bobcats that's for sure.
#9
Yeah let's not give Casey any credit it's the coaches fault. Well what it was was a butt whooping by a better team tonight. Time to fire the coach just because Bell lost to little ole poor Casey..... well you can fire your coach if you want, that's your business and we here at,Casey will support our good team. Toodles
#10
Congrats to Casey
#11
If I am not mistaken Bells scores in the state testing were up!!!! That is a good thing, maybe the admin know more than you think.
#12
Casey is a solid football team. Good core of athletes and hard nosed on the defensive side. With that said the Bell staff is a joke. I despise Bell, but I feel for the kids. Kids deserve better than that.

That is the sad part they still have some very good football players. A bunch of starters from last year especially on defense. Scores are up because of 1 school. That principal refuses to listen to the Supt. He hires the best for the job not the politics.

I completely agree. I actually don't think he should have the most blame cast on him. Like 82 said I hate bell, but mountain football is better when they are good. Hard to believe that this district has gone from the best in 3A to what it is now.

Where is E's Army he going to come out and eat his crow ? What was his prediction 35-14 Bell County???? Lol
#16
E's army didn't predict anything that anyone else historically wouldn't. Name a year other than this one that Casey beat Bell? The times are a changin'! Big win for Casey.
#17
Good win for Casey County. For whom the Bell tolls ????
#18
No mojo left on the Mountain. Casey has made me a believer. They rolled.
#19
Congrats Casey Co good win good luck on rest of the season:worthy:
We are in trouble and with no change in sight for at least next year it will be worse than this year and it will take 4 or 5 years to even start to fix it now it is Sad
#20
Now it will get worse because anyone that can leave will leave. Why would you leave your kids in that situation?
#21
One of the most shocking scores in our area in recent memory. Looks likes most likely the Corbin-Casey game @ Casey will be for the district title. Could they also meet again for the region title?

Congrats to Casey they have a good football team. And I mean no disrespect to them but this is one for the ages. There is no way that Casey Co should be beating Bell County this is a shame to the program.
#23
If you have been following Casey this is the year they could have beaten Bell no matter who your coach was. They have some nice talent that are all seniors. I understand frustration but give the Rebels some props.
#24
We Know what Casey has, been playing them for a while now. They are better but it should not be 53-14. No way no how. With a even decent coach this game should have been at least close. No excuses. The new coach will try to blame it on the players and former coaches, anyone but himself.

Let's look at what we had returning.

Humfleet 4 year starter at FS and 2 years at RB, unfortunately he was lost for the season

Asher 3 year starter at WR and 2 year starter at CB

Collet 4 year starter on defense and 3 on offense

Philpot 4 year starter on defense and 2 years on offense

1 of the Collins twins was leading tackler last year at LB, the other twin played a lot and is a real good athlete

Thompson started as a freshman at CB and played a ton of WR

Wombles at LB was 1 of the top tacklers last year

Murray returned at TE and is a really good player

Miller started a few games at OL in 2015

Collett started 1 game at QB in 15

A few other kids that got lots of experience in 2015. No excuses.

I disagree with you. This staff is a joke.

I picked Bell by 1.
#27
I hate it for our kids.. it is so hard for our juniors and seniors. The adults are hurting our youth!!
#28

That's the way it always works! The politics and the adult butt holes who get caught up in it, will sacrifice the kids' well being for a little power.

I've always pulled for Bell, any mountain team for that matter, every game they played except for the one played around Halloween. Smile

I hate it so bad that the program has declined like it has! The kids are paying the price.
#29
It's my opinion..... the Superintendent or the admin don't teach people how to block or tackle..... I'll go with the coaching..... the coaching has been on the downward slide since Hilton left.

Who picks the coaches?
