Outside of an early opportunity to tie the game after the bad snap on the punt, the Devils were never really threatened in this one. The defense brought it again.

We had some big plays in the passing game, but the running game is still a work in progress. Conley ran well early, but did too much east/west running and not enough north/south running in the second half. We still can't get a good push up the middle with our offensive line.

Conly just doesnt have the speed for those sweeps Russell runs. And he hasnt shown the ability to see the flow of the defense and cut back against the grain instead of continuing towards the sideline. Hes more of a fullback than halfback.
