This one could be a defensive battle or this one could be a north and south game. Knox Central RB Arthur and Carton is the best RB combo in this area. One day closer. I remember the battles these Seniors used to have with SW in Middle School. Some of the hardest hits I ever saw at that level. Then they would play basketball against each other and the games always came down to last seconds. Casey and Fannin banging in the paint was always fun to watch. Now both are talented seniors helping lead their teams. Praying for a safe game for all and a game that showcases the work of all these young men. As always, may the best team win. And, yep - I think that is KC :-)

I still can't decide on who wins this game, but think it will be a good one decided in the fourth quarter. For people mentioning that Knox Central can't hang with Southwestern or that this is big boy football, that is absurd. Central stands a solid chance of beating Southwestern. Southwestern is a solid football team who was beaten by a solid 2A squad in Danville last weekend. To think they would run over anyone, especially a solid 3A team is asinine. Southwestern has a tough stretch coming up after this one too: @Mercer and then home against Corbin. Could be a tough couple of weeks on the Reservation if they don't get a win this week or next.
