You forgot to put their ranking next to Butler Co.
#6
Noway Hazard is better the Raceland
#7
I would say the Rams have the deepest and best OL and DL in class A.That alone should put us much closer to the top.But with Racelands let downs over the years I see why people are hesitant to rank them higher
#8
I agree hazard not the team Raceland is , but it will all come out soon enough .
#9
Raceland has a good shot at making some noise in Class A but historically the Rams have failed to live up to expectations despite the talent that they have. From what I have seen so far this year's Rams have the best defense that I have seen from a Raceland team in several years. If they can get their offense clicking they have just as good of a chance as anyone to make it to Bowling Green. It will be a tall task though because the Eastern part of Class A is very top heavy and it will not be easy to make it through that gauntlet.

Don't sell the dawgs short. Also, don't hype up the Rams too much.
#11
I agree about Williamsburg.. I had them in my Top 10.. Despite being 0-2, they've been competitive with 2 of 2As top teams.. I'd venture to say, most 1a teams would also be 0-2 had they played the teams the Jackets have and most likely would have lost by a much bigger margin..

Despite losing 2 key players the burg is still hanging in there. They are still very young in a lot of pistons. Still think they are a year away from being really good again.

Butler Co didn't make it this time where we only had 7 voters...

I really hope your not basing off the Fairview score.. Because if you are then you are off base. Fairview never really moved the ball on Hazard. Fairview got short fields from 6 fumbles. Fairview scores on a screen play that they read from the start. The cook kid broke 1 play and it was on a missed tackle. The QB found the Romaine kid on a bobbled punt play that let to a touchdown.. How many teams score 41 with 7 turnovers..?

Hazard is a physical, hard hitting team. What they lack in talent, they make up for in heart and they've had some pretty solid talent to go with it... The Rams have as much if not more talent and depth than anyone in 1a, but, what else is new.. Until they prove they can make at least a state appearance, then I will question them.. Be it lack of heart, poor coaching, lack of speed, injury or whatever else it may be, I'm not sure the issue, but, there's definitely something keeping them from getting over the hump..

Are turnovers part of football ?? Sounds like they have issues hanging onto the ball 7 turnovers in a game is crazy . Fairview will win 2 games this year maybe 3 take that for what it's worth

Yes they are. What makes Raceland better than Hazard?

Turnovers are part of the game just like wide open passes dropped or kids just losing there footing..

This is my opinion .. Just like 99% of everything on here are people's opinion my opinions are based on the Facts that Raceland has beat a good west carter team at west Carter and beat Ashland at Ashland and Harzard struggled with a not very good Fairview team . Like I said before it will all work itself out when district play starts

Hazard didn't struggle at all. Fairview didn't stop Hazard 1 time. Hazard stopped themselves... 7 turnovers you usually don't win ball games. Hazard has a week to clean those up and get ready for Letcher. The Pineville team is better than last year and that came directly from the mouth of a coach that I talked too.

Hazard only give up 229 yards of offense to Fairview 130 rushing/99 passing.Heck Pineville only had 159 total.

My gauge game to tell how good Raceland is going to be the Greenup game. Because defensively they are solid and it will tell me if Raceland is up there.

My rate on the Ashland game is I figured the Rams would win by two scores comfortably and that's my worry on them.

If your gonna go by stats like you doing for hazard take a look at Racelands compared to both their opponents way lopsided . Your taking stats not the game itself for hazard but taking the game itself not stats for Raceland compare apples to apples not what makes a team look better

Stats where to only show a no struggle. Even though the score doesn't show it Pineville played Hazard much tougher than Fairview. Hazard hit a hailmary for a touchdown to go up 14-7 at halftime other wise it would of been 7-7 at half time.. Hazard just wore them down..

You really need to joined the BGR panel and ranked each class top ten each week NUT :truestory: I ranked Raceland at the #6 spot with your help your vote will be counted.......I Think Confusednicker:

Raceland has a member on the panel and he votes every week. Depending on how things go this week in Class A they could be major shake ups...
