Trotting out mothers of violent criminals who were killed while resisted arrest or defying the orders of police as if these people were victims of some thing else other than their own choices? This amounts to the endorsement of criminal behaviour.

I think these comments from writer and young Christian conservative Matt Walsh say it best....
"Tonight at the DNC convention, the Democrats gave stage time to Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards, Lena Dunham, Bill Clinton, and the mother of Michael Brown. For anyone keeping track at home, that's one mass murderer, one woman who admitted to fondling her sister, one alleged serial abuser and rapist, and the mother of an attempted cop killer. And it's only Tuesday. They've still got two more days to go. Perhaps Charles Manson and Kermit Gosnell will make appearances later in the week.
The Democrat Party is morally bankrupt. The RNC may be so often stupid, cowardly, and inept, but the DNC is just plain evil. If you don't believe me, turn on your TV at any point between now and Thursday night. They're practically advertising the fact. They're proud of it."
And on one of his comments....
"Anyone who considers himself to be a Christian yet still affiliates with the Democrat Party may want to tune in to the convention and ask himself whether Jesus Christ would be in the crowd applauding while Cecile Richards is honored with a prime time speaking slot. This is the Democrat Party now. It ain't your grandad's DNC. The modern DNC is, essentially, the political expression of Satanism."

Copy of the letter in response to this horrific thing Hillary Clinton has done. Just another in a long line of self serving, sickening actions.
This letter ends with the Fraternal Order of the Police admonishing Hillary Clinton that she should "be ashamed of herself, if that is possible."

I'm beginning to think that Hillary will not get a bump out of this convention. The revelation that she was SELECTED and not ELECTED to the nomination is going to negate any bounce she may have received. Combined with the Berners open rebellion, I just don't see her getting a bounce.

If being against giving the CEO of planned parenthood a prime time speaking slot and the rapid promotion of abortion on demand to go along with homosexual and transgender celebrations makes me a radical extremist in your eyes, I'll wear that badge with honor.

While your response is clever, if it is an attempt to address the extremism of "DNC=Satanism," it utterly fails.

Ah, the passive aggressive ward has been opened for lunch. If you are suggesting that what was posted addresses the extremism of "DNC=Satanism," then maybe hold back on the "you don't get it" smarminess.

This is the second time that you have said I was passive/aggressive. I'm not sure where you are getting that, but if it makes you feel better to do that; fine with me!!
There apparently is a lot of posts that go over your head because you never take a stand, you just dissect other's comments and proceed to re-define them.
If you support the Democratic party and Hillary, then make an argument for them rather than twist other comments, then criticize.
Talk about passive/aggressive.

"DNC=Satanism" is right there, in plain English, quoted. That is extremism. Yet, none of you folks will admit it. Instead, you just keep going with the "over your head" mantra, which is utterly a "big fail" in addressing the point at hand.

I just re-read this entire thread because I didn't remember anybody saying that the DNC is equal to Satanism. I finally saw in Wide's post a quote from Matt Walsh
"The modern DNC is, essentially, the political expression of Satanism."
That is a post from one person quoting the opinion of another.
You have no idea what I or any of "the other folks" think about the equalization of Satanism with the Democratic party.
You tend to project your opinions and get totally rattled over nothing.

"Totally rattled"? This is a political forum. I hardly think so. No poster has agreed that "DNC=Satanism" is extremist rhetoric. As far as what you think about it, you remain silent.

“We support a progressive vision of religious freedom that respects pluralism and rejects the misuse of religion to discriminate".
Straight from the Democratic platform in the section under LGBT "rights." Pretty scary when you think about it - easily could get the state regulating Churches over doctrine.

"Do you feel a deep sense of peace, belonging, and wonder
in Nature or under a clear night sky? Do you respect the rights
not just of humans but of all living beings? Would you rather
save the planet than “save” your eternal soul? Do you
aim to make the most and best of your one life here?
Do you value science and reason over adherence to ancient scriptures?
Then you are probably a scientific pantheist "
Put the green movement with global anti-Christian sentiment, and add the secular humanistic peace and love, preachy platform planks of the Dems altogether, and you get something remarkably similar to pantheism.

I would interpret the refusal to disavow "DNC=Satanism," coupled with non-relevant BS in response as a form of doubling down. Yes. Have you seen a poster disavow it? I haven't. Just another example of extremism, among a forum full of it.

That's the way of things when one side defends truth and the other the lie. And BTW, 240 years of history favor the case being made by Republicans. Not to mention the fact that as it would apply on the foreign policy front, our not having stuck with the horse that 'brung us' has resulted in the complete unraveling of the relative stability which characterized the Middle East for my entire lifetime. Right up until Obama ascended and appointed Hillary to prosecute his policies that is. The left demanded change, and as this administration has so adequately proven and not that said change makes a lick of sense, but lies have been no obstacle in achieving that goal.
The instability addressed briefly above, could be coming to a neighborhood near you just as it did in San Bernardino and Orlando. Then let's see you guys holler for more gun control. All law enforcement can do when such things occur, is respond to a grisly scene awash in human blood and destroyed lives. The damage already done. Guerrilla fighters are very likely embedded strategically throughout the peaceful societies of this world, as elected leaders, in what would seem to be a global collusion, got away with running a clandestine cultural blending program for years. And George W. is as guilty as any in saying the illegals were performing jobs Americans were not willing to do, thusly desensitizing folks to the realities associated with open borders.
Thousands of Syrian refugees are already here, and tens of thousands are coming. So here is my question. I keep hearing that it will take between 18 and 24 months to vet each of these refugees. So, taking into consideration the date of that now famous turbo charged 'crawfish' we did when we backed off our "red line" threat of Sept 2013, does it strike anybody else as unlikely that we've had the time to vet those thousands already here? I mean, it's only been 34 months since the reported chlorine gas attack.
But getting back to the double down, I loved what Laura Ingraham said at the RNC last week. "My Mom taught me there is honor in all work." Laura's father enlisted in the US Navy during WW2, and worked in a car wash after returning home. After she delivered a masterful speech filled with truth at the RNC, we saw the leftist "US Magazine," come out with a piece which accused her of making a NAZI salute during that same speech. :please: News Paper op-eds across this land predominately feature the lies of rabidly partisan media who cannot resist the call to run their own campaigns, of which in the broadest general sense, they oppose everything Republican and in this case have insisted the RNC was supposedly filled with controversy, while ignoring the bitterness and protests of thousands of people outside the Wells Fargo Center and the boos and unrest at their own convention. And then there was the incredibly damning indictment of the email scandal this week in which the DNC Chair and high level Dems to include Hillary, repeatedly make all manner of racial slanders and manipulative machinations. And what do we get from them about all of that? Crickets.
The lie versus the truth. Dems have proven which side they're on IMHO.

In politics, "winning is the only thing" certainly leads to "machinations" and distortions of truth on all fronts and from all sides. Dems manipulate race politics, without question. However, "DNC=Satanism" is the kind of rhetoric that goes beyond debating issues. Both parties, at the highest levels, employ a whole host of "slanted truth" and dirty tricks to arrive at a winning advantage.
