Pburg survived and advanced against Paintsville.
The Tigers struck first with 3 in the top of the first. Blackcats clawed back with one in the bottom of the first and held serve until the 4th. Pburg scores 3 to take a 4-3 lead. Tigers respond with 3 of their own to take a 6-4 lead. Blackcats weren't done score 4 to win 8-6.
In the nightcap, the Panthers used a big offensive night versus Shelby Valley to advance.
Pounded out 18 hits in route to a 14-4 win.
Kevin Justice picked up the win on the mound, all 9 starters had at least one hit.

Time to shake it off and move on to the next one. Pikeville has a chance to be a pretty good team.

I agree, both Pburg and Pikeville have an opportunity to experience successfully seasons.
