15th Regional Tournament Championship- Lawrence County 75 Johnson Central 64
#1
Congrats to the Bulldogs! From the second quarter on Bulldogs just had control. Other then a couple moments when JC hit q 3 or big shot to try to get back into it they just answered right back. Congrats and good luck at Rupp!

Pretty sure it will be Louisville Doss same team Williamsburg play last year. ...I think. :yikes:

Lawrence County, you were the #1 ranked team in the pre-season & in the regular season.... and tonight, you proved the rankings correctly.

If you guys can hit the 3 pointer like you did tonight matched with your press and transition style.... you guys will be playing on Saturday.

Enjoy your first ever trip to Rupp Arena. Represent the 15th region with class.

LC..... you guys have a decent bracket.... with some Luck and good play, you can win the 5th State title for the 15th Region.

There will be 8 teams that will be one and done. Your point is???????

Congrats to LC

To the Johnson Central seniors.... you guys got to play in Rupp Arena for three straight years & made it to the Elite Eight in 2014. Thousands of kids dream of getting to play one game on Rupp's floor, you got to play four and be apart of history for your school.

Always look back on your high school basketball career and smile. One loss does not define what you accomplished while wearing the Black & Gold.

Be proud of your three 57th District & three 15th Regional championships.

I'm probably in the minority but I expect LC to play Doss tough, maybe even win.
#14
I've not seen Doss play....

But like I said earlier.... if Lawrence can hit the 3 ball and thrive in transition, watch out.

Yea but Christian Co is in that part of the bracket, if they can get by Doss then a matchup with them is most certain...
#16
Wow...to the one and done...what a piss poor attitude to have! Congrats Bulldogs! You fought just as hard as any team to get there. Enjoy it and don't let the bitterness of some adults bring you down.

Great job lawrence

I honestly think with a little luck they can compete at Rupp. If they can stay out of foul trouble, and shoot like they have been then they have a shot. This teams core is good enough to compete no doubt.

Great game by Central. Nothing but class from JC what a great run your school has had. This season was all about the Bulldogs though, undisputed/undefeated this year in the region. 16-0 in the region 29-4 on the season.

Pretty awesome seeing 70 year old folks teary eyed. They've been waiting a long time for this.
Proud of our Lawrence Co kids. Kids like Kiser, Chaffins, R Dalton really all the kids are great about taking pics w the little kids. Chaffins gave some little pieces of the net. Just 1st class!
Hats off to Mason Blair from Central. That kid has grown on me. He talks it and backs it up shooting as well as anybody I've seen around here. Dropped another 30pts tonight.

Proud of these young men. They've come a long way as a team. Regardless of what happens in Rupp this has been a season I won't forget. Thanks to all the coaches and players for putting in the work to make this season enjoyable for us fans. Good luck in Rupp Bulldogs!

So exciting having a team like lawrence county lifting the good folk of Louisa's spirit's. More exciting is knowing they could win it all. My dads step brother billy ray cassady played for the inez state title in around 54 and they still talk about that. He played for rupp and they won a title beating elgin Baylor's seattle team.gary clay
