Casey County 74 Pulaski 64
#1
Both teams split regular season. I'm surprised PC fell down so far this year. Congrats Casey and Coach Stallworth.
#2
Congrats to Casey. Casey and Rockcastle for district tomorrow night
#3
As most of you know, I support both the maroons and warriors but if I had to choose one, it would have to be my beloved maroons. Hate to see the season end, but when a coach only prepares two players all season and neither of them are having a good night, then what do you expect. Congrats to Casey, but I believe Rock wins by double figures.

Pulaski basketball is worse off now than what it was before they hired Voight. If you're not going to upgrade why make a change. With that being said I hope he stays for 10 years. SW got 1 all-state point guard from PC due to the mess there, and I've got a feeling another may be on the way.

Don't forget, if the point guard goes to South Western there will be a 6"5 athlete with him also.

Yea could be a mass exit of young guns
#7
I would hate to see that northern 8th grade group broken up. They have a ton of potential.
#8
Yeah that Coach Farley had done a good job with those 8th graders.
#9
coach Fraley

I'll have me some Coach Farley!!!!!:yum:

I think John Furley will be the coach at PC next year.
#12
Speaking of Farley, I watched Black Sheep last night. That one never gets old.
#13
Congrats to Casey
#14
If I was Coach Farley I would definitely check my options. PC sports programs seem to be too political anymore.
#15
I think they should bring back old man Furley to coach at PC. Im sure he has a few games left in him.

Check his options? How stupid.. This isn't the NBA FA period

With the way players trade teams nowadays it might as well be the NBA. By the way, wasn't it your PC coach that drafted 2 kids from New Mexico this year and 1 from New York last year. It would be crazy to say that Farleys best option is at PC right now. PC won't play in the regional tourney the next 2 years, SW will have a excellent chance to play is a state championship game the next 2 years. So tell me, where would you play. PC basketball has been headed the wrong direction since Dave Farley left, PERIOD

My PC team..? You tell me since you seem to be in the know of everything.
Who the heck knows what SW has next year..
And actually PC basketball has competed and won against SW.. Wright got to the state off an entire group of hold backs and a couple of transfers... Surprise.
PC has held their own in the district thats a bold prediction by you
If I grew up at a school, that's exactly where I'd play & wouldn't want to be anywhere else.. Maybe I'm old school.

So, Wright got to state off an entire team of transfers and holdbacks, great point. PC with Gover as coach could not get to a regional championship with an entire team of holdbacks and transfers. With Voight, even worse, they can't get out of the district with a whole team of holdbacks and transfers.

I agree, I'm surprised PC wasn't able to advance a little further in some of those yrs tough draws for them..but the hold backs/ transfers don't compare there.

But hey how many district champ is that for Wayne now? I believe gover has one but that came from PC, not SW.

Fraley won't be in any color other than maroon next year. Hopefully he will have a dad, uncle, or grandpa coaching him. Or even all 3. But to say Pulaski won't be in a regional the next two years is crazy.. They've won the 47th 9 out of the last 10 years coming into the year. They will return Powell, Sylvester, Elmore, Fraley. I'll take my chances with that 4 any day.

Write this down!!!!!! FARLEY, SYLVESTER, and VOIGHT will all not be in Maroon next year. PC will have to choose, Voigt, or Farley and Sylvester.

Count the holdbacks or transfers that have played for Wright at SW, PC has as many or more. I can count 15 or more transfers or holdbacks to play at PC since Wright has been at SW. You keep worrying about district championship little boy. Maybe McCreary County can come join the 47th and make it a little stronger. I think it's hilarious that PC actually hangs banners for winning that district.
#24
The last 20 times Wayne and PC played the record is like 15-5. One of the 5 pc has won was the 2-0 forfeit a few years back. When was the last time PC beat Wayne county in the post season? 1989 maybe?

Can you please name those 15?

You are probably right about that; Pulaski will have to choose. I just hope they make the right decision!

What kind of question is that.. Idk. They haven't beat em recently but so what.

Fact is.. SW has been on pace with Wayne every year over the past 5 or so and Wright has been owned for the most part. We shall see if a rematch is in the future.

This year alone, #1 Sylvester, transfer, #2 Powell, holdback and transfer, #3 Hall, holdback #4 Elmore, holdback, #5 and #6 brothers from New Mexico, although they did not work out they still were recruited here.Last year, #7 Burton, holdback, #8 Johnson, holdback, #9 Helton, holdback. Year before, #10 Peyton Gover, holdback. Year before that, #11 Taylor Gover, holdback, transfer, #12 Cody Johnson, holdback, #13 Goins, holdback, transfer, #14 and #15 Laign brothers, both transfers and maybe holdbacks. So there is 15, there are more I'm just tired of research. My point is, for Lil Baby Ninga to say Wright's success is only due to holdbacks and transfers is stupid, PC has recruited and held kids back just as much or more and still considers success winning the 47th district. Here is another little tid bit, over the last 5 years, Casey County has as many region tourney wins as PC, Somerset has more.

Didn't Somerset just beat Southwestern and Didn't rock beat Wayne. I don't think either team lost to McCreary so does that make your district even weaker?
