You have to stop one player and had all year to come up with a game plan to do that. 39 points is embarrassing.

Taylor is hard to stop, but I thought the press and trapping the ball up top was the difference late in the game, it changed the flow of the game. Coach P changed it up at the right time and it worked.

If I recall correctly, Whitley turned it over 2 straight times after they switched and also missed about four 3 pointers. It went from a tie game to a 9 point Corbin lead.

Leave it up to Coach P to make the change at the right time. The better Coach, with the best player won! That simple!

Over 35 years since Whitley won a district title....

I felt bad for the Whitley seniors. They won 3 of the last 4 regular season games against Corbin but couldn't get over the hump come tournament time. I don't think they made it to region in their 4 years.

Congrats to Hounds. Coach P seems to come up with genius game plans.
