Man that was painful to watch. South Laurel has to be better than that. They are so slow. I don't think they will ever beat Clay. No way. And Letcher , man they can't play dead in a western. They play hard but they just don't have the horses. And the all star is no where in the league of cam justice or Braxton Beverly. Not even close.

And the way Clay played against a very mediocre team in Boyle county at home, would tell me that Clay has no chance against South. (Same Boyle team that got beat by 12 by another mediocre team in Pulaski.) See how stupid that logic sounds? Teams have bad games believe it or not. At least South come out on the winning end (on a neutral court.) in their bad game. Sounds like you had high hopes of a South loss.

I couldn't care less who won and I said they must have had a bad game can't you read. I hope they did because they looked awful period. And they are slow as hell no matter how they play and the 3 best teams in this tourney are in the other bracket.

You must be in an igloo. Carter took over the game. He was off. Contrasting styles made for a slow game. His style isn't like Justice or Beverly.

Boyle county would disagree that the 3 best teams are in the other bracket.

Guess we'll see Saturday night which side of the brackets is better. I will agree that South looked and played awful tonight, probably their worse performance of the season. Bottom line is just winâ¦..no points for style. Had so many chances to run the score on out to double digit leads only to have terrible turnovers and missed wide open shots. Have to be much much better against Harlan Co or could get ugly.

letcher lowest point total before tonite was 63 against harlan co. letcher shot 52 percent from fiend and 33 from 3 against harlan co. south held them to 47 pts 30 percent from field and 14 percent from 3. souths defense is not talked about much but they do a pretty good job even when offense is not clicking.

South Laurel control this game from the beginning to the end. I liked what I saw last night. Slow it down south will win, speed it up south will win. Come tournament time pick your poison. 64SUR :Cheerlead

imo south laurel is the best in the 13th region.

south has a nice team this year and will be hard to beat inn there region.
