Good game, hornets came out slow but played well on in the game. Had it cut to 6 pts in the third but wrong man handling the ball and had to many turn overs and that hurt them bad. Hats off to the dogs, class act group of boys very talented team. See you again in the regional tournament should be a good one.

If you can't beat JBS but 4 points guys it doesn't look good for you. I said overrated and until you beat a quality team I will stand by that. Not a decent win on the year.

How in the world does this qualify as a great win. This is a senior team. The 15th region is weak as water. The last time I looked magoffin co was not considered a great win in ky basketball

Magoffin is one of the stronger teams in the region I would consider this a quality win , no reason to put down Lawrence county , the dalton brother played good they shot the ball very good ... If magoffin wants to win they have to keep giving Jacob Isaac the ball in the paint , Trenton Russell I think had 10+ turnovers tonight he really struggled ... When they made the adjustment of putting Lovely ,Russell ,Fitzpatrick , Peters and Isaac they played the best Fitzpatrick was 6/6 from 3 if I'm not mistaking... Either way they cut the lead to 4 in the 3rd after that the unforced turnover killed them...

I'm not trying to put any of these kids down and sorry if taken that way.I just think some top competition may bring out the best in them. I am glad to see Magoffin winning a lot of games and getting their program headed in the right direction.

Lawrence will get their tests coming up in Trad Bank and then Scott Co. Hornets will too with Morgan. But will have to agree the region is way down and that the Hi-tech Classic is not that Challenging of a tourney. JBS Lawrence were best teams in it with Magoffin moving towards a good team, but the rest were give me games with simmilar skilled teams and thats what you want at the begining of the season, LC is playing the right schedule to get a lock on the region.

Lawrence is a great team love the Dalton boys , I was told Russell and Lovely were hurt and sick but still played . Lawrence is the best team in the 15 they should be . Glad to see Magoffin playing well games like this will make them better . Lawrence is s great team .

Why put magoffin co down, they are a good team, with a lot of talent, probably the best big man in the co and shooting about 47% from the arch as a team for the season. if you knew sports , every win is a good win. No matter who you play.
