Whitley County 48 South Laurel 40
#1
Final.

Wasn't as close as you may think. Whitley jumped out early and controlled the entire game.
If Whitley hits there layups they win by 20.

Ive been watching Whitley girls play a long time.
During that span, Anderson and Jones never once had a team that looked more put together this early in the season and had a team that busted it like Estes had them tonight.

I believe Estes has finally got things heading in the right direction.

Whitley should clearly be the favorite in the 50th. They have the best combination of players by far.

did Jackson County beat Whitley tonight, what is wrong with Whitley County? they may finish the season with a losing record.

Apparently.
I haven't been keeping up with it that much but it looks like it went south and in a hurry.
I have no clue what happened. they looked pretty good out of the gate.

Since Jim Rains won a state title and retired from Whitley it seems that the powers that be have made political hires with girls basketball...All of these hires have produced under achieving teams IMO...
