South is good but they should have won this game and the mercer county game, IMO they have been out coached in both of these close games. Players are gonna have to learn to win the close ones.

I thought coaching helped keep them in the game with Mercer Co. Tonight was all on free throws. Think fatigue was big factor down the stretch with South as they ended up 4-17 from foul line. Was a very good game though as both teams kept battling back.

Davis pulled taylor and grubb with a 8 point lead and when they returned they where down 6 pts, you dont pull your studs when you get a little breathing room, you step on the pedal and put the other team away. South way more talented than Owen but still lost

That was 1st and 2nd qtr. South was up 5 with 1:40 left and missed free throws that led to Owen Co knocking down 2 huge 3's to send the game into OT. Got to give Owen Co credit for knocking down those huge shots. Owen Co is good. No shame on losing to this team. Carson Williams is good enough to keep them in about any game.

Tough weekend for South. Lost to two very good teams.

South is good not saying there not, but they where way more talented than Owen and found a way to lose. Once again this goes back to last year and losing close games, they never won a single game that was close last year. I am really impressed with thier talent but coaching i am not.

I do. Very well may win the region. Certainly one of the favorites. Can't miss a chance to dig J. D. South won't shoot that poorly from the line the rest of the year.
