Kind of lost how you can have fern creek about JC when JC is playing for the championship and Fern Creek is at home

One's a 5a school, the other a 4a school.. I would guess that if JC had played BGreen this week like Fern Creek did, they'd have been at home also.. I also think if FC had played Wayne Co, they'd still be playing.. There's not a big separation between the 2 and you could make a case for either over the other, just feel FC may have had a little better overall season..

Ok, for my 2 cents worth, I don't see how Fern Creek makes the list and McCracken County doesn't. Let's do a little comparison here. First Fern Creek edged out DeSales by 14. Mayfield beat DeSales by 5 but the late touchdown in prevent defense really reduced that to 5 from 11. Then McCracken beat Mayfield by a touchdown. Now, granted they didn't make it to semis in 6a but, they lost by a FG after losing their qb, who will be a strong candidate for Mr Football next year, in the second quarter. So, would that be worse than a team that made it to the semis in 5a?

That loss to PT looks worse after the way PT lost to E'town and C.Hardin, plus PT lost to CH. Regardless of McCracken losing their QB, IMO, CH still had a better resume and they didn't make the Top 15 either.. FC went 12-2, one of those losses in the semi's to BG, who they held to 21 points, which is better than most did and they were more competitve than McCracken was against the Purples.. It's all subjective, just the way I saw it..
