I know haha. You said earlier some people questioning play-calling. I think there was a matter of people wanted more touches, and now the ball is being distributed more.

Either way, a very illustrious career is going to come to an end Friday. Either #45 or #15... I hate to see them both go but I hope whoever doesn't end this week ends next week with a W.

I think Pikeville probably should've won the last game. Add in the way Battaile is playing and I'll take the Panthers... But I would say this one may be the game of the year in 1A

Blue_Bird96 Wrote:I agree! Beechwood is without a doubt a REALLY good team but their not where either one of these teams are this year and shortly in Bowling Green Paintsville will prove just that! The REAL VILLE will take that crown!

Paintsville will be at the house.

oh ok:biggrin:
pjdoug you have picked against Paintsville all year long. I guess you'll have to be wrong again.:biglmao:
I can promise any fan of Ky. High School football out there, Pikeville fans WILL want everyone of Paintsville's players 100% healthy in this game. We want to win this thing fair and square . Much respect to Kash Daniel, and the Paintsville team. Hope he's 100%.

maybe it's time for you to be wrong? I've only been picked Pikeville wrong once.I've not picked against Paintsville all year.I have just picked Pikeville to represent the East since last year
I kinda doubt it.

I don't.:truestory:
Is Pugh playing college football anywhere?

To answer that question I have seen most of the coaches share his hudl highlights on Facebook and haven't seen a official offer from any team at the moment , maybe JP knows more then me .... And for phelps and Trimble in the last game Kent had 14 touches and close to 100 yards in the first half , went down in the 2nd quarter and didn't return ... Trimble had 1 touch

Thank you, I tried to find out online and couldn't find anything about it either, kids to good to not have any offers
The first thing one needs to know about owning a liquor store is that the liquor is for selling, not for drinking. Your recollection of the '78 championship is incorrect. Fort Campbell kicked a field goal late in the game that hit the upright and bounced through. That was what made the difference in the 13-15 ball game after paintsville went for two and failed

I agree the kid can run the ball , such a strong runner and has really good speed for his size ...
Pikeville 28-27 stopping a Kash Daniel 2 pt, conversion try for the win. From the Pond Creek Nation good luck to both teams and I expect an awesome game.
Two. More. Days. #RTD

The Panthers have had a good couple of days of practice so far. Going to be an awesome game.

According to an interview with I believe All Kentucky Sports, I think he said he had heard from Marshall and wanted to hear from EKU and maybe UK. Been a while so I don't know if I'm totally accurate. But that's how I remember the interview going.
Pugh definitely has the tools to be a big playmaker at the next level. Wish him nothing but the best, just hope his high school career comes to a halt on Friday night.
Just a couple of more days until the reckoning. Get ready Tiggers, your dream is about to become a nightmare.
I'll have to post a retraction on Darrell Pugh missing the field goal at the end of the championship game. He never got a chance to kick it at the end of the game after the Ft Campbell fumble. The old memory isn't what it used to be! LOL!!! I guess it goes to show you not to take anything on the internet too seriously.
PantherPride93 Wrote:I see the BEST running back in the state having a huge night. Our Oline will be just as dominant as our Dline Friday night. Their Dline is weak and slow, their LB's are weak, besides Kash and he is hurt apparently (scared). The more and more I think about it, I just don't see this being much of a game. I expect this to have the same outcome as our other 3 playoff games. Might not be a running clock, but this game will never be in question.

Who are they dominant against? Pike central? South Floyd ? Lynn camp? Oh no you must mean Williamsburg!! Facts are facts Pikeville has faced 2!! 2 solid lines this year! How'd those work out?
If Pugh hasn't got any offers then I would be suprised. A lot of colleges could really use that kids talent! Which someone said he may not have any interest in playing college ball! If that's the case then that's his call and wish him success in whatever he chooses!

1. Pugh had 169 yards and 3 TDs against Paintsville.
2. Take a look at Paintsville's schedule.
3. Here's how Shelby Valley's backs ran against Paintsville's line.
5
Johnson, Seth
7 53 0
6
Layne, Donavon
7 35 0
3
Layne, Mason
4 13 0
20
Rowe, Chandler
23 176 2
4
Tackett, Kasey
14 101 1
And SV isn't even a threat to pass like Pikeville is. They also had another very good RB out for that game.
Pikeville will move the ball on Paintsville all night.:flame:
Against Paintsville Pugh carried the ball like 35 times if they are going to best Paintsville they will be need to be a little more balanced , I'm sure pikeville has watched the Paintsvlle/ Raceland game and seen how to beat Paintsvlle load the box and make Kash throw and don't have refs from Williamsburg lol
Pikeville may move the ball all night but they won't score! You can throw the stats right out the window in this game!!! All that matters is the score!!! Tigers will take it at least by one!!!
