WOW what a senior night.
Kyle Bradley hits a three as time expired.
Belfry jumped out to a 6 - o lead for Lawrence Co came storming back to take the lead and at one point in the 1st half Lawrence was up 14 and went into the locker room with a 9 point lead. And early in the 2nd half Lawrence was up 12 and then Belfry came storming back to take a 1 point lead. Then they traded baskets for a little while and then Lawrence took a 5 point lead late and then finally Case (I think thats his name) hit a three to tie it up with 20 sec left in the game. Then Lawrence drove to half court and called a time out with 16 sec left. They inbounded the ball and got into Shawn in the middle were 4 belfry players colapased onto him and kicked it out to Kyle who hit the game winner as time expired.
Shawn Thompson had 26 points 22 Rebounds and 6 steals.
Kyle, Shawn and Mitch all played a great game in there final home game.
Mitch had around 12 points and close to 10 rebounds
Kyle had around 16
Also to the other boys on the team what a way to step up and help send these boys off in a wonderful way.

What is going on up at Belfry! The boys get beat and then the girls by opponents that should come close! Congrats LC on the win! I watched you all at SV and you are a scrappy bunch, and the Thompson kid can fill it up.
02-24-2006, 12:04 PM
Yes Thompson can fill it up. Everyone is going on about Brad Lowe being the best in the Region. I think that Thompson is. He has the complete game. he doesnt just score 30 - 40 points a game. but he almost always has a least 10-15 boards a game and 5 assist agame as well.

LC rocked Blefrys world..

Exactly. Everybody just ignore him. He always comes on here acting like he's a 3rd grader.

To play within 5 of LC at LC is as good as a victory in my experience.
Not counting Lewis Co. who is horrible all of LC's wins are at home by a combined 24 pts, team they beat by 2-3 at home beat them by 10, 14, and 16 pts on the road.....can you say homered.

So can you say we got homered at their schools as well. come on a win is a win no matter where its played.
02-25-2006, 07:14 AM
When ALLLLLLLLLL of your wins are at HOME(except 1), by a TOTAL of 24 pts(avg. margin of victory 2.4 pts) and then you get beat by some of those same teams by more than 10-16 pts LAWERENCE didn't get homered it looks like someone else did.

Were you there? Did you see any of the games? Then you really wouldn't know, would you? You're just taking stabs in the dark, right? Just trying to aggravate people, right?
If you bothered to do that much research, you might want to look a little deeper and learn that the free throw counts in games at LC this season have generally been within four FTs of even -- so, homered is pretty much OUT of the question.
With the exception of the Letcher Central game in Louisa, all the visitors have had their key performers in for the very last tick of the clock, which is more than the Bulldogs have been able to accomplish since in 20 percent of their home games Shawn Thompson has been fouled out and in another three was in serious foul trouble. So, were you saying something about "homered"?
Like to try a new theory now? Probably not, because you were simply trying to stir the poop anyway.
Grow up.
